If you're a fan of seafood and are looking for somewhere off the resort, the place to go is Lorenzillos. It's fantastic we go twice per trip....or more. Food is great and they have a huge wine list.

Never been to Lorenzillos but also hear it is awesome. Beautiful setting on the water too!

We hear it is the best seafood in Cancun! I guess taking a cab is the best way to get there? Anybody know how far it is? Does it have a dress code? ;)

So true. They have lights in the water so you can see the fish swimming around. If you've never been you should make a point to go next trip. You're looking at about $160 for two people if you get an okay bottle of wine. But if you want to get crazy they have $1000+ bottles too ;)

You can take the bus but I'd suggest a cab (150 pesos each way). Doesn't have a dress code that I know of, but we usually dress up. I've seen locals there in casual clothes.

I would do a bus less $$and no problem. $1 each way that saves $30 for extra food or WINE!

Only problem with the bus is not all the drivers will let you know when to get off. It's easy to miss your stop and then you're stuck doing the loop to get back.

We think they do that on purpose! Give them a $5 bill and they'll take you to the front door! You gotta love capitalism in Mexico!
