    Walking is fine with us.
We plan on getting our own cart, so if we see something we want to do and the group doesn't, we can catch back up with the group when we are done.
Pauline will like to spend some time on the beach.
    Turtle sanctuary - maybe.
Shopping yes, but at the end of the day. We don't want to lug that stuff around with us.
Not sure how long we will stay, depends on how tired we get.
Meeting for lunch if we get separated sounds good.

8am+move while in the context of Temptation Resort shouldn't be allowed in the same sentence ;). But we will be there !

I think the golf carts are great idea! How many does one hold? We are ok to ride with someone if they hold 4 and split the cost. ?

Those are the ones we got last year and, yes, we split the costs.

The golf carts holds four people, and there are different options for how long you can keep it. I think its like 1hrs, 3hrs, or for the day (I think the day last until 5pm or so). Last year we had them for a day which worked out cheaper and was a better value. It came out to around $20 a couple, but we didn't have to rush to get back and we got so see the entire island, and do lunch at one of the local establishments.

Once you return the golf carts there is plenty of time for shopping, and all of the little shops are in walking distance from the golf cart rentals and the ferry back. And like acjsts (Art and Pauline) said you don't want to lug that stuff around with you all day.

We plan on staying on the island all day, there are so many things to see and do there. We would really enjoy going to the water park with the zip lines, kayaking, and snorkeling, but like Troy said their not open everyday we would have to get most of the group to want to go, and book that in advanced.

We would love to hit up all these places together (we go out by ourselves enough at home), but to get a group this size to want to do the same things for the same lengths of time is unrealistic. Everyone just make sure whom ever is in the golf cart with you wants to do the same things and leave at the same time. And if you don't want to have to worry about what someone else is doing or if you want to do your own thing while on the island, then just get your own cart. I think we should set up a time and place for lunch, so we can all meet up in case we are not all together.

This is where you do the snorkeling, kayaking, and zip lining.

Hey guys - I agree we need to stick together with people who have the same type of plans in mind.

What time do we want to meet for lunch?? The ferry should bring us to the Isla by 9:30 I would assume. Everyone okay with meeting up at 12:00 (we need to establish where to meet) and then finding a place for lunch?

Personally, we want to go to Playa Norte and lay out on the beach the most out of anything - then walking around looking at shop and turtle farm sounds good. We are not looking to buy any souvenirs (3rd year in Cancun) but have no problem walking around looking. Garrafon Park looks like a lot of fun but it is expensive.

    So my idea of the day for David and I looks like this;

    Arrive at the Isla 9:30

    1. Rent a golf cart
    2. Drive around Isla and stop at Playa Norte
    3. Clean up and meet everyone for lunch 12:00ish
    4. Turtle Farm
    5. Shops/ Walk around and look around
    6. Go back to TTR - leave around 4:30

What does everyone else have in mind?!? If anyone is thinking the same type of plan as us, let us know maybe we can share a golf cart?

That sounds a lot like what we had in mind.
