Me too! I never got any towel animals the whole time I was there and I tipped every single day! I was sad because I saw some of the others. Maybe they were annoyed because they knew I was a single but I slept in both beds... haha

 

All around the maids are great. Although I did feel really bad when I found the red socks that were on the dresser from the night before folded neatly the next day! :banghead:

 

lol - probably they didn't realize that the red socks aren't for your feet.

 

I'll have to leave them a color coded chart or something next time or at least leave a skull and crossbones card on them!

 

Ha! Yes, need to make it easier for them to know. Or just leave some hand sanitizer with the red socks.

checked prices again today - still too expensive I hope they come down soon.

 

Prices usually will start to come down around late August or so but the window seems to be smaller every year. What stinks the most about May though is that they start opening up all the good direct flights for November but the prices are still too high. cwins:

I know it sounds stupid, but I like leaving the room immaculate before the maid comes in - with everything as clean as possible, beds made etc. One day we got up late, and decided that instead of my usual clean-up, we'd head straight to the sexy pool and leave the 'do not disturb' sign on the door and forego the maid that day.

Big mistake! The maid came in anyway whilst we were at the sexy pool, and cleaned up. I dread to think what 'state' the room was in. I know as a minimimum my theme wear, from the night before, was flung all over the floor in a trail from the doorway to the bed. Didn't even leave a tip out because assumed the maid wouldn't come in that day with the 'do not disturb' sign out.

 

I'm kind of the same way. Other than an unmade bed and the towel on the floor to ask for a new one I get odd about how I leave my room as well. Even though I'm on vacation I feel like a pest if I leave it too messy. I did learn after my first year not to leave channel 12 on when I went to the pool. I'd come back buzzed to my room thinking there was a puritan ghost who kept turning all my porn off!

 

Trying to check Alpharooms pricing for Nov and computer seems like it loads the page and then nothing appears. Says "done". Anybody know why?
