Went with Air Canada for the first time and was pleasantly surprised ( they wern't on strike) , 2 planes each way , all were on time, 6 inches more leg room then any flight/carrier I've taken, 50 pound allowance check in ,, + 20 for a second,, 2 carry ons allowed and not weighed.Large tv on each seat with new release movie available for free. Free seat selection at the 24 hour mark , was able to get in the front of the plane no problem. They are usually more $$ but were competitive this time, would consider them next time as long as a strike is not looming. Airport AC lines were short and fast.
We flew sunwing last trip to TTR. We will never fly Sunwing again. Late flights, smashed luggage, fighting with them to fix/pay for it. Our flight was in Feb, still the issue is unresolved. I would avoid them personly.
Discount carrier. Cheap but ok. I prefer west jet but can't beat sun wing price just pay the upgrade or bring less shoes!
I have flown with the three major carriers in Cda (Air Cda, Westjet & Sunwing) to Mexico and the best experience was on the Sunwing flights. Always spend the extra money to upgrade to Elite....worth it!
Thanks to all that responded. We board today at 4 with a direct flight to Cancun. Only a 3 hour flight so I didn't upgrade and we are packed and if my scale is right we are both under on weight. So thanks to all.
