I think the funniest distinction that I've read is a swayer is a couple that could get turned into swingers with the right amount of alcohol. Anyway, I was just asking for the sake of conversation... seems like that question quieted the group up. I guess I found a way to bring out the shyness in all of you!
We were in bed, but are not afraid to say we would have 3 X's. it's not anything we expect, because we go for the party and meeting cool friends. If it happens that is a plus for us.

To be honest I have heard the term swayers for years on this site and at TTR, read that post and still don't understand where the line is drawn between swayer and swinger. So for example, if you do community body shots and some times that leads to a hot tub party where things happen but not ALL the things, what does that make you?
It means you are having a good time. Actually that would be called soft swapping. A swayer is someone on the fence and open to swapping or thinking about it.
I keep this thread up at work all day. Hence the reason I get in on every post. Its great having a job where I can do it. Lol
This will be our 4th trip to TTR (4 consecutive years). We were not familiar with this site our first year, but the last three years I have been on this site, the topic of wristbands and x's is discussed often. I consider myself to be an expert on this subject only because I have read enough in the last 3 years to know what people in the know are talking about...lol. Your definition of the different number of x's is spot on. My understanding of Swayers is that it is a commonly used term by those engaged in the lifestyle so if you don't know what it means, you would probably not be one of those couples that would have xxx on your wristband. To define the term in more detail, a Swayer is someone who is open to pretty much anything short of a full partner swap and as Darin said, under ideal circumstances, this individual could be updating their badge of honor to xxx at any given moment. While this topic is heavily discussed on this board, it is not widely practiced on the resort from what I have seen. It is my opinion that those who do engage in this practice do so because they are more comfortable being hunted rather than doing the hunting and would prefer to avoid what they would consider an uncomfortable interaction with a couple that does not engage in the lifestyle. The funny thing is that the Swingers I have met at the resort are some of the most fun, outgoing people and they aren't shy about openly discussing their lifestyle choice hence the lack of a need for identifying yourself with any one group. The only time we ever wore bracelets on the resort was last year when a couple gave us bracelets so that other people could more easily identify us as CancunCare users. I view the marking more like Scarlett Letters rather than a badge of honor so it is not something we would do, but that is just our personal choice. We go to TTR to release our pent up need to have some crazy, adult fun. Sometimes this leads to XX or X acts, but regardless, we know we will have fun. That is my two cents for whatever it is worth.
