I just say it like it is, not gonna butter up for anyone. I even tell co workers and friends, or customers. Most don't know it is topless but if you ask me I willl answer YES. Glenn carries around Temptations pens at work all the time. lol.
We get the exact same looks. We actually had a couple of friends that said they would go with us and when we told them where we go and that we weren't willing to change resorts they ended up bailing on us. We think they saw some of the "swinger" reviews on trip advisor or something. The name of the resort certainly gives off the wrong (or right, depending on your views) impression...
Friends & Family dont approve! You have to know who you are telling and your comfortability in their judgement as well as their abilities to research. We tell people cancun. If they ask we say Temptation. Some know, some don't, but all in all it depends on who you are telling and your knowledge of them and who THEY may tell. We let the people who watched our kids know where and while just through simple talk we came back to complete ridicule from my sister saying "the family has questions about you and the resort you stayed at". Trying to band aid it with the truth of "it's spring break for adults" worked for about 2 seconds and then came he big question... "are you guys swingers". Well to be short and sweet about it,if you are going to TTR unless you are willing and wanting to hide everything about your trip then just be honest and fuck everyone else if they wanna judge you!
Hell I'm a fireman and I told the guys at the station about the resort. And they all wanted pictures. I told them book it and go stay and see for yourself that its a blast. They all no Angela goes topless and wears thongs in Mexico. And they say my wife isn't as cool as your wife. They all think we are freaks anyway. Go to one party and get drunk and the wife flashes her boobs and all the wives about had a heart attack. So we have been labeled the freaks. LOL AND WE LUV IT!!
If pressed for an answer by uptight family or friends we just tell them it the Oasis. At last count I believe there are 8 in Cancun. The cool people we tell it is TTR and some just smile knowingly but others kinda step in a bit and in a lower voice say .... "Oh really, tell me more about that place".
One of our managedr died in the hotel where the lobby blew up two years ago in Mexico. I tell people should I die in Mexico just know that I was having the best time of my life and my life is full.
We don't care what people think, our daughter has been there and we took our youngest son there on his 21st birthday, that was fun.lol I guess we are just New Fashioned?
