I'm sure these have been asked before, but that's a pretty daunting forum section to dig through. My wife and I just booked our first trip to TTR (July). We understand that the party (loud) pool is topless. What about the quiet pool? What about the beach? AS for dress codes, shorts and t-shirts are okay for breakfast/lunch (just wear shoes). For dinner, people keep talking about "dressing to the nines" (a great, but vague phrase). Does this mean sheer tops/dresses? We assume plunging necklines are okay (and even appreciated). I'm sure we'll have more questions later, but wanted to jump in with both feet now.
Quiet pool, sports pool, sexy pool and beach are all topless optional (and very encouraged ) I wear my swim shorts, a shirt and sandals to breakfast (well brunch as we usually just make it before it closes to set up for lunch). At night they expect shirts and shorts, always shoes. The other restaurants would prefer pants for the men and dresses for the ladies but it's a crap shoot and I've read of many guys getting in with jeans or shorts. Here's another question. Is the sports pool really open at night? For socializing or "sports"? Is there a bar open out there or do you have to get your drinks at Patio's?
I have been naked in the sports pool at 3:30am. No towels and it's chilly. There may have been alcohol involved. Maybe. Just saying. On that particular night I'd had a skinful and didn't need any but yeah, yuou need to get drinks at Paty'o's The security dudes make some feeble grunts about no sex or something but they pretty much leave you alone.
Yes, just as Ali & Andrew said... the quiet pool and the beach are all topless as well. You know for dinner, we dressed appropriately. I think I wore some type of skank-tastic dress to the sit-down restaurants. Otherwise for the buffet & the Mexican place, I dressed 'beach-casual', but yes, the girls were "covered" and by "covered" I mean bra-less under a thin tank top. Plunging necklines are always appreciated! As far as packing/purchasing clothes for the trip, if you think "Oh, wow, that's hoochie. I would *never* wear that in real life," then it's most likely perfect for Temptation and you will fit right in!
The TTR website states that the sports pool is open until the sexy pool opens in the morning. I have been in it until 5AM on occasion. It is for socializing. Dawn
I don't think so, not sure when's a good time, after midnight maybe? I don't think they care, there's naked people in there for tequila volleyball in the day. It was fun, especially as it shocked the hell out of Ali, who thought the stodgy old Englishman would never do it. Again, there MAY have been alcohol involved.
