there are reality programs on in england that follow groups of british people around places like malia and kavos (called "what happens in kavos" and "Sun Sea and suspicious parents"), and i actually cant watch it it is that bad. its so embarressing, I cant believe people actually act the way they do.

Anyway, we booked this hotel before reading up about it, and at first i was abit unsure as to what to think, but reading more and more it just seems the place where people go to have as much fun as possible whilst keeping an open mind. Stupidly excited!

As for hitting on peoples wives, girlfriends etc, that wont happen. i have enough trouble talking to people i dont know as it is haha.

I really like this smiley :bandit:

Honey there are embarrassing people from everywhere. I would imagine this won't be your last trip. It is a great place to have the time of your lives. And though you say you won't be hitting on someone's wife, sometimes its the other way around...LOL
    Have fun

    Hi all,
As newbies, going for the 1st time in Oct we havent yet seen the single male thing firsthand, but after reading this we have come to realize that it is a crapshoot. We are hoping that our week isnt a week dominated by a large group of single males as we would be concerned that the atmosphere surrounding them may change the entire outlook on the trip for a vast majority of the couples there. But we realize that the management is not about to turn down reservations and money. The real question we have regarding this is what is the appeal to the single males? Thinking back to my single days, I dont think I would want my vacation, or holiday if I was on the other side of the pond (lol), surrounded by a mostly couples crowd. where is the appeal? Whats the selling point? I would think a place that caters to singles would be a better spot for these guys. Do they think that their group of ten will go to the room with someones mrs for the night thus they can all high five one another the next day? At home when we get out to lifestyle events we tend to stay away from the ones with single men invited, but the few we have been to the men are respectful, and an, "im sorry, we arent interested" usually works just fine. It's not our thing, but some people like that, so we arent judging, or putting all single men in this "group".....But, we just dont see the allure in it for the single guys, what is the allure for them? anyone?

The truth of the matter is that if the single guys would be more respectful, polite and with an appropriate decorum, they could likely find a couple that would welcome their attention. The biggest problem is that when guys hunt in packs those attributes often go out the window.

Pay attention guys! This is a teachable moment brought to you by a middle age woman! LOL

    Hahaha, that sounds terrifying.

I have no idea why we booked to go here! As i said in an earlier post i did no reading up on the hotel beforehand. but I can deffo see the appeal, Sun, Sea, All inclusive, a pool called "the sexy pool", "adult games". If you ask me its pretty much an advertisement for groups of singles.

Also, i neven knew the difference between "vacation" and "Holiday" untill now! Thanks!

I echo those sentiments. TnT was a great group of people, fun and very respectful.

    Groups of Single guys.

Lets not beat about the bush here . If you go in Trip advisor or look at reviews and some how stumble on adult orientated sites ! TTR is associated with swingers and liberated adults be they female or male that is why groups of single guys or singles males go . They all think wheather from the UK or elsewhere that they are going to get involved in some sort if horizontal recreation . Some friends of ours from Kansas go every year also friends from the UK and they are honest enough to admit it . We have been here a number of times and chatted to single guys and girls and had no problems but also had problems when they don't accept no for an answer . The response we had once was "I thought this was a swingers resort " . Just our opinion so please don't shoot us but lets all be honest please .

The crowd make-up changes from day to day. In January there was a Saturday where a lot of single guys showed up on day passes and the vibe was different, not better or worse, just different.

There are singles and couples and they gravitate to their own comfortable groups or mingle with those they find interesting. I think respectful singles can find what they're looking for. Also, the whole "swingers" label is used on a very wide variety of people. There are all different shades with all different rules and agreements. TTR is just full of people open to possibilities or who enjoy mingling with those that are.

You can spot the single guy lurkers and there really wasn't a lot in April. The tattooed midget and the day pass guy who spent 20mins asking Ali daft questions so he could stare at her tits were the only two I noticed really. Then again I'm a pretty big guy so maybe I scared them off lol
