From the Newbies: It's the little things...

Our kids won some at a little carnival at school. We tried party store here without luck but did find something that will work from one of the dollar stores here. Sometimes they are at the checkout at those stores.

AIWC I had to call the distribution number and they looked up stores in my area that bought from them recently.

 

This is great advice. Especially the 1st paragraph on meeting people. It is easy to meet people in cancuncare and get comfortable in a 'click' but there are so many nice, interesting people to meet at the resort that are not even on cancuncare. We tend to wander and talk to all sorts of folks. It makes for an interesting and exciting trip. The first trip we started slow and regretted not allowing ourselves to just let loose and leave all your social concerns behind right from the start of our trip.

 

Some people do leave at night and go to Coco Bongos and places like that. We chose to stay and have fun with our friends at Patyo's.

 

We promised ourselves to try a club last week. We even picked out two nights. Then the party at the pool got crazy and we agreed to meet people at patyo's and we never made it to a club. In the fall we will try again.

 

is that Patyos an on site bar then?

What I learned: if someone comes up to your wife and says "nice shoes", it has nothing at all to do with her shoes. Day 3

Large insulated cup. Day 1. Those puny plastic ones suck.

 

Yup...
