Well today we are starting the Insanity workout program. 60 days of not drinking at all.... what is one to do. What workout program or diet are you on? What do you do to get ready to go to TTR? Carl and Maggie
Melissa is currently doing the Jillian Micheals videos. She has done both Insanity and p90x. Ladt summer she did Insanity, the ab workout from p90x and then ran a couple of miles each morning. Me, I just do a little cardio at the gym 2-3 days a week. I'm not dedicated enough to do the other. I figure why kill myself just for the week at TTR when nobody knows me and nobody gives a shit anyway.
I did it, great results and even got the T-shirt. I continue to do it on occasion paired with other workouts and weights. When I am feeling lazy I slip in pure cardio...
insanity works great with a weight training program .what ive just started to do is gym1 hr a night push ups -pull up 200 each a night abs 30 minutes obliques 20 minutes a night doing this workout till the end of sept then I will be adding insanity about 8 weeks before my trip in oct . plus ive just started a no fat diet for the next 4 weeks to help build my v frame .half to look half ass decent for a wedding and Halloween in cancun .my goal is 220 at 8 % body fat by time the last week of oct rolls around .
I started Insantity last week. Starting a 17 Day diet after Mothers day - not dieting on the day of the year that is about me...and My mom! Too much eating out planned for this week... But feel a little difference after 1 week of insanity. Looking forward to seeing what 2 months will do. ~Jill~
I highly recommend insanity. A friend and I did it and had good results. I trained for a half marathon after and the insanity training helped make that alot easier.
I've started using an app on my phone called "my fitness pal" it tracks all of my calorie intake. This helps a lot! Plus, my hubby and I are going to the gym at least 5 times a week to do cardio and weight train! Hopefully, it pays off in 9 weeks lol
Just getting back to working out again after coming back. I worked out there three times only during my trip. I will get back to p90x.
Insanity is a AWESOME workout program but it's not easy. You can certainly gain a lot from it if you stick to it and are dedicated
