September weather is warm/hot the sexy pool water temp very warm. and as for the sports pool it was warm also for those late night swims, the water temp in October chilled, what a difference a month can make.
It will get hopping again once everyone gets into the work week. It is funny how work leads to increased activity on Cancuncare.
Thanks for the info. We just got back last night and are trying to decide on end of sept, some time in October or 1st week of November. Would love to experience the crazy crowd around Halloween by being there last week of October or first week of November. Can't be there on actual Halloween due to kids but could get close. However, weather is the big concern. The weather last week was fabulous. Weather when we went in feb was just too cold with maybe 20 people in the pool instead of 120 in April. Plus the party ended at 4:30 in feb but 6-6:30 in April. So above it was stated that there is significant difference in weather between sept and oct. Can someone further elaborate on that? Are we talking pool temps so the party in the pool is limited? Pool party ending at 5:30 instead of 6? Or??? Thanks! Hopefully we can join some of you.
We have been in September, October, and November. Last year was our November trip. While the weather during the day was great, it cooled off fairly early and made the transition out of the pool painful. As long as you stayed in the pool you were fine, but getting out of the pool each day was no fun. On the flip side, September was just plain hot and never had the cool off at night. Great weather for swimming, but not so great after getting dressed up and dancing in Pati O's. We think that October gives you the best of both worlds. Great weather during the day, but a little cooler in the evenings.
Oh. My. Goodness. I am gone for 2 days and everyone joins in the party! Lol! I had to WORK today (and yesterday), ugh in the stinkin' rain, photographing an OUTDOOR wedding in 50 degree weather!!! Nothing could make me yearn for Cancun more! AHHHH, sunny skies, warm water, and all the alcohol you can handle influencing what I hope to be some of the funnest times of my life and I have 5 MONTHS to wait!!! Hurry up October!

We leave our camera at home and solely rely on ccc friends to help us out. Our daughter is a detail girl and some details are best left in cancun.
It's always slower here on the weekend. I love getting to work so I can really ratchet up my posting. Lol
We went in October last year, and I thought the weather was perfect. It was hot, but not brutally hot during the day. And, I think most nights we ended up in the pool until about 7ish? Of course, the party always dies down close to dinner time.... however, the party was still so hoppin' that we ended up missing dinner reservations 2 of the nights that we were down there because we were having too much fun. The night-time weather was warm, but not brutally hot. I remember being too hot in the long-sleeve dress shirt I wore for the "Men's Dress Shirt" theme night - I had to go back to the room and change. Bottom line is that October is wonderful! I think you guys should definitely come join the fun!
