I agree on the one at fiesta americana, nice food, lovely view for breakfast, nice and relaxing. Where is Hacienda Sisal and Captains Cove please? Btw sirloin stockade is actually quite good, the one in Paseo Cancun was nice when i first went then it was bloody awful but the new one in Malecon has always been good, there's a nice choice and you get filled up for under 200 pesos, plus the brocolli cheese soup is lovely and you can almost make yourself a roast dinner. Never been for breakfast though.
I went to the Fiesta Americana a few months ago and they no longer offered the buffet, have they continued to since it turned all-inclusive? I agree with you about the Stockade at Paseo (now closed for remodeling), 4 years ago I use to drive from Playa because they had fried okra then it went down hill. Hacienda Sisal is on the sea side of Blvd. Kukulcan around KM 13.5. It is just after the Kukulcan Mall and in front of the Royal Sands. There is a "turn in" right in front of it to get across the Blvd. Captain's Cove is on the lagoon side of Blvd Kukulcan around KM 16. It is across from the Tri Royals. There is a traffic light governing the intersection/entrance. Pancho y Willie's and the Royal Market are in the same area. Both places are owned by the Royal Resorts.

Just wanted to add while it is not a buffet, the breakfast at "Downtown" is really, really good and not overly priced.
It's now 2013, and much has changed re this topic, so - could someone suggest a good breakfast place in centro?
Liverpool on the Malecon side of PLA has a pretty good one. Not cheap. Made to order omelets are good but not fast. Will make the egg whites only if you ask. I think they call them Huevos Claros. Sometimes I would (almost) kill for a Denny's. But that's not buffet so off point. Just a lingering thought.
A friend from DF wants to try the Dubai Casino, both for the food and the gambling. Does anyone have updated costs for the buffet? The website I found is possibly the worst Ive seen, ever.
