Bearhug's April Addicts Commentary - April 11th to 20th

Well first off...I'm not naming names...because I'll screw it up...either I'll forget someone or call someone by someone else's name as I did several times throughout my trip. I love you all...and you all know who you are!

Second, this is not a play by play...there's lots of that for this trip. Big Sexy did a great trip report, Dogface is throwing awesome photos up, Christy&Brad's made me laugh, and Tweb's got part 1 and part 2. So read theirs.

And sorry if this is long...short...whatever...I'm Canadian and I apologize for everything...I need pictures if you don't mind though, I don't take any...I think I've explained that...especially of myself...lol

The theme nights were well organized, good participation and more fun when you do participate. But your let your comfort level be your guide...and anticipate it being stretched :xyxthumbs:...YOU CAN DO IT!:liebe039:

To everyone that I got to talk to, hang out with, hug, dance with, do AIWC shots with, among other things...thank you! This was an amazing vacation, maybe my best one.

This was my 6th time at TTR, 3rd Boobs Cruise, 2nd yaht trip, and first time in April...oh and first Toy Party...thanks to those who organized, attended and put up with my single ass.

Happy things:
People! First...to the April Addicts (those I've met before, newbies, veterans and adopted folk)...you're awesome...can't wait to go back next year.
The staff is great...never dissapoint. The bartenders (Eme, Jack, Tiger, Oliver, Johnny, Javier) and entertainment staff (Nathan, Paloma, Sara69, Amy, Manuel...) always make my trip better.
Drinks are NOT watered down...as an experienced alcohol drinker...I can say I have no issue getting drunk. I saw one guy beside me at Paty-o's one night complaining of watered down tequila...and they actually had a water filled tequila bottle that was there on purpose...kinda funny
Food is great...eat at the buffet for breakfast (Rosa's omelets...) lunch split between buffet and the a la carte "Margaritas", dinner at all 4 a la cartes and once at the buffet...Italian will always be my favorite due to beef carpaccio and caprese salad
Boobs Cruise...amazing...Steve...love you man...new guys are decent...keep it up and get better! ...looking forward to seeing Chinos back. Nice to see Omar briefly when he dropped in.

Complaints: always has been...hard bed...that's pretty much it for complaints against the hotel...any other complaints are related to people who probably shouldn't be at TTR and not because they're shy, shy people can be fun :angel1:...but rather people that do not have the mental capacity to process what is going on around them and they blow a fuse and cannot handle the environment...I'll leave it at that

For Singles: You're not alone...just don't be dumb.
Ladies are typically always welcome...unless they're full of drama and Jersey Shore style
Men, do not bring a camera to creep everyone out it...:aktion034:...do not rub on everyone's shoulder unless invited :bash:...and contain yourself especially on the first day...it can spell disaster for the rest. Being confident about your sexuality and being confident you want sex is two different things...if you don't know the difference...then...well...gtfo

I will end the ballad with a final thank you...I made some amazing new friends, reconnected with some old ones (and I'm not talking age here)...those I got to spend time with are all ageless in my opinion and both your beauty/handsomeness and attitudes speak volumes to this. (yes I'm straight...most of the time...no really...)

I can't wait to let my liver recover from borderline catastrophic failure and do this all again next year artyhorn: where I will once again defend my Beer Olympics and Belly Flop championships...and Karen...you will get a shirt!

Thanks for the report. Appreciate all the positives but feel the need to inquire upon the 'hinted' negatives since we arrive tomorrow. Let me know if I just read between the lines wrong.

Were cameras an issue? Or not really, you just suggest singles avoid being labeled as a creeper?

Was the quantity of single guys an issue? Would love to hear a single guys perspective as you hint at some disrespect in that area but clearly are a 'good apple'.

Separately, was curious if the cougars got the cougar den they wanted. And any stories of being bumped during what is probably one of the most busy times of the year.

Can't wait to have our own fun tomorrow!

Awwww my bear twas an awesome trip...... *guilty confession time * your hat is probably residing in lost and found as we speak. Ooooops. I have pics from the beach I need to send you.... In particular one of you and Karen in the sex position competition

 

I think the single guy thing is hit or miss. No matter where you go you'll find at least one @sshole single or not and it's not always a guy. We met a group of around 10 young single guys from Chicago while there. They were great fun and even gathered in the hot tub with me (Chris) for a picture. They were very polite, no groping or nasty comments. On the other hand there was a single guy at Patyo's one night obviously trying to pick someone up. He was creeping around and made unwelcome advances to a number of the women there. Thanks to our hubbies and the April Crew who watched over everyone he soon became scarce. Our motto is only one of us can overindulge the beverages each day so the other can keep things under control.

 

I never talked to those guys, but I saw they seemed friendly... We referred to them as the Brochacos...

We only had one real issue the whole time... And I'm really not sure if the guy was single or not... I just know he almost got a fist to the face...
