Same here. Plus if we were to stop on the way our room probably won't be ready so we would have no where to put the stuff we buy. We land at about 10 am.

We plan to take the bus going, but coming back don't want to have to walk a couple of blocks to catch it.

Thanks for your input though ;)

Does anyone know what time it is open until on a Sunday? We are planning on buying most of our toiletries when we arrive, Mexico should be a lot cheaper than the UK!

We took the bus both ways. Very easy. The bus # is R2 We paid $1.00 each way. Told them where we wanted to go and they would stop and tell us to get off. Used the bus to go to the strip area too.

We just went yesterday. Just turn right out of the front of the resort and you'll see a bus stop sign just a few steps down the street. Just let the bus driver know you're going to Walmart. Our bus stopped in front of a small flea market type building, did a u-turn and the next stop was for us. You have to cross a busy street right where you get dropped off, walk a small block and cross another street and Walmart is right there. We had no idea where to catch it on the way back, but luckily the bus was already waiting right outside Walmart at the same crosswalk.

We just went to buy water shoes for Xplor (they were about $180 pesos) and some snacks. They have great snack mixes full of pork rinds...way better than any other pork rind we've had. We didn't bother with booze because it's free here and we're not that picky. Prices were awesome though!
