MY buddy Fred and I are coming down on may 26th. We are two men coming down for a guys trip. When i called the hotel to request 2 beds in our room, they said that it was based on availability and that they could not guarantee it?? I called almost 2 moths in adavnce! Any recommendations?
Once they see the two of you at the front desk standing there, they will get you a room with 2 beds, plenty of room at the hotel. Worse case senerio, you might have to share a bed for 1 night, but that is if you go to sleep, the Paty O bar is open till 6am and there is plenty to do all night if you meet the right people, which shouldnt be a problem on here Post the dates your going and look for that monthly roll call thread
Granted we dont plan on sleeping much anyway, but thanks for the info! ANy area in particular we should ask for to have a good time?

we're going to be there from May 26 - 29. Just looking to drink, eat, relax, and have some fun.... do you think ground level rooms are better for this, or doesn't it matter?
I prefer ground level myself, I am not a fan of stairs, 2nd floor isnt that bad but the 3rd floor I would rather sleep on the beach Here is something else to keep an eye out for. It is mainly couples and geared that way too, but Steve & Jannet do let some single guys on board for the day also, not many just a couple. sleeping on the beach is always an option!!! or by the pool! By the way, how are the dress codes for men at the restaurant.... shorts and collared shirt, or do we need slacks and a button up?
Depends on the mood of the resort, I have been in shorts before and long pants too. T-Shirt or Button Down is good. Dont forget to look out for the Theme Nights too for May so you know what costumes to bring for the evening activities. On Sundays it is usually anything goes but Monday to Wednesday its pretty lame. Members on here will make their own theme nights, keep an eye out for it too. I will see if I can find the link if its up yet
when we were there last time I would have preferred a room with 1 bed however I think those get snatched up quicker and we ended up with 2 beds which was fine because the extra one I got to spread my clothes all over when picking outfits lol
