Snow - still? Supposed to be near 80-degrees here this week. Giants & A's already had opening games so baseball season is in full swing - makes for an interesting commute when the Giants, A's & Warriors all play on the same night. My liver hurts thinking about the last two bachelor parties I attended. Ugh! Cross country flight hung-over is something I will never do again. 17-days to go.
5 more days...began "the pack" last night! Since I'm bringing a fair amount of camera gear (for the ruins/snorkeling) I have to make sure that ONE crucial cable, etc. makes it into the suitcase/camera bag!
Suitcases are out. Now to get all that stuff into it. I think it's going to require shots. Anybody ready? Let's get this party started!
Tuesday night:... ++++ overtime = ++++SHOPPING this weekend! Already scored two custom made T-shirts from my new pal and neighbor Donald- and I will get our names put on them ( I was thinking "THE bitch" for mine and "HER bitch" for his....but HE didn't agree....) .....but I see nice shoes in my future.... OK....there is little hockey game tonight that I have to watch.....sure, it happens all the time... but its always fun to see Canada kick some US hockey hide....even if its just them girls.....I'll be having bbqed Sam the Eagle with my side of poutine tonight.....(just kidding, Scott.... just kidding :flash: ) After Oprah leaves town tomorrow, the snowstorms hit on Friday and I get thru another two weeks on night shift....I should be good to go! Oh dangit.....I still have to tan, pack, and fluff...... I think I need a vacation! note to Jess.....bad idea to tell me I am too quiet.....very bad idea!! Addendum Wednesday morning .......ok......so...the bird lives....this time.......but I'm still having my poutine....
20 cms = 7.87 inches ok make that 20cm of snow expected for Ottawa on Friday....Mo' Nature has PMSD this year.....(pre menstrual spring deprivation) ...my last weekend to shop with abandon and i will be snowed in....me thinks i will have to liver-train too....you people are scaring me with your dedication....
wish I could go to all of you going in april, enjoy. I happened to hang out at TTR march this year (had so much fun) and for some unforseen (but welcomed) reasons I have more free time now and since a buddy wanted to go to cancun we are going end of april but TTR was too pricey so we will stay in oasis (my bud wanted to try that one, i wasnt that sure since i read the food is not good but my bud wants to party, I am not sure how is the party scene end of april-beg of may but let's see) but we might buy a day pass and stop by. I envy all of you (in a good way though lol)
So less than 14 days to go before we arrive!! My suitcase is mostly packed. I promissed I wasn't bringing much this year, but then I had to pack for theme nights, and dinner, shoes ect so my suitcase is FULL again..lol Can't wait to leave....so I can sit back in my chair with a Drink in my hand!! Although it was 70's here today!! Thank god there is no more snow!
Liver Shock A little worried since we're spending so much time in the gym and dieting (no alcohol), that we're gonna show up and our livers are gonna be like "WTF?:brick:"... Gonna have to pace ourselves the first day or so, or maybe we'll pace ourselves for a couple days before our flight.
