she maybe nervous that you're going to be there and thinking she may have to turn it down a notch or two, im sure if she read up on TTR she knows what shes getting into, i also agree with Donald, its the quiet ones you have to watch out for.
Steer her towards the bad reviews and plant subtle mind seeds that it isnt all that great and you wish you werent going....maybe she will bail.
I don't know her too well. Jen thinks of her as her innocent reserved little cousin who comes from a religious sometimes opinionated conservative family. But having met her several times I do see the potential some of you are hinting at...she is a closet party animal that just hides it all from her family. Should be interesting to see how this all plays out. In 3 weeks we will find out. Adding to the drama and increasing the possibility of the above theory, today we learned she is going with her boyfriend and his college friend or friends? Maybe we are the ones who are going to be shocked? But on the other side of the argument she again indicated she is not happy about the topless potential. And asked 'what the hell is this anything goes party my boyfriend is talking about?' We don't even know the answer to that one and guessed a show the resort puts on at night. But clearly he is educating her slowly on what to expect so we don't want to get involved there and add complication.
We worry that if we do this she will be more likely to discuss with the relatives and potentially be apaled at where we are going. We are going the party hard but get her to also route and at the appropriate time have the lets keep this experience private and not for family discussion. Plus who is really going to cancel a free vacation 3 weeks out? Thanks everyone for the advice. We will report out how it works out in our trip report when we return.
We arrive 26th. They arrive 28th. Not on the cruise as far as I can tell. Thanks everyone for the ideas and support. If she truly is naive and innocent she won't be any more after a week at TTR with this crew
With the questions she's asking I'm thinking she trying to feel you guys out...are you guys going to be the downer of her holiday...or rat her out if she miss behaves. Like you said it appears her boyfriend has been telling her some of what goes on at TTR.. Asking Jen whats with this topless thing could be her way of asking "would you do that?" or what do you think? She might surprise the hell out of everyone and be the life of the party...LOL you just never know with these youngsters..LOL
