Can anyone confirm if this list on the TTR website is accurate? :ernaehrung015: I had read some posts that they have far more and better selection than what I see on this list. Like Captain Morgan and such. (we are not going premium or anything either) Thanks! WHAT BRANDS OF BEVERAGES ARE INCLUDED? :ernaehrung005: The hotel offers a selection of top shelf brands such as: Bacardi Rum - White & Dark Brandy Fundador and Presidente Smirnof Vodka and Wyvorowa Cuervo Tequila and 100 Años Whiskey - Red Label, JB, Jim Beam, Kentucky. WHAT TYPE OF BEVERAGES ARE STOCKED IN THE MINIBAR? Mini bars are stocked daily with water, V8 juice, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and beer.
I don't recall seeing the Cuervo out or premium whiskey. All seemed to be of the less expensive variety. I could be mistaken and beer is draft only at the pool.
There are additional ones for members...but I'm typically satisfied with what is there fore everyone.
They have a great variety of tequila: Well - crap Cuervo Gold (might as well be the well) - crap 100 Anos Silver & Resposado 100% Agave & decent El Jimador Silver & Resposado 100% Agave & good to very good Milagro Silver & Resposado 100% Agave & very good Premier Members: Cuervo Tradicional Resposado They also have flavored vodka - orange, apple & vanilla. Orange & Red Bull goes well. Beefeater for Gin too & Skyy Vodka. There are a ton of labels that list is missing - the selection is quite good but no top shelf stuff. If you want a specific brand "call" it by asking your bartender - they are trained to go to the well. They will give you what you ask for and over time they begin to remember you. Premier members do get Jack & Crown for whiskey selection too and better beer that comes in 1 liter bottles. No top shelf like Grey Goose, Patron, Don Julio, Ketl One, JW Black - but a very good selection for an all inclusive resort at the price point. This trip we're heading to the quiet pool and taking pics of the bar -
I'm not particularly fussed on brands, as Dikfore says, after a few you don't notice or care. I made a point of asking for vodka and cola, not saying Smirnoff and cola to see the difference, but if you tip often they tend to automatically reach for the Smirnoff. Don't know the difference between the brands of tequila (shame on me!). I can't stomach tequila at home, but it goes down far too easy at TTR/Mexico!
Gotta agree on the tequila. I was surprised to see they had Milagro sn our last trip in Feb. It is very good in my opinion as well.
ok... I must be the only one that HATES milagro... lol... Like... I'd rather drink cuervo... but I love me some corazon...
