I hope this isn't a silly question. What voltage of power does the hotel have? Also, what kinds of adapters would I need to bring. I have a few multi purpose ones but they are 220v.

Is the internet bandwidth strong enough to complete coursework?
There is some really great information on here but I don't think this was covered.

    Thanks!

The outlets are 110v. We don't use the wifi while we are there, but have friends who use it for work and school so you should be ok.

The outlets are the standard North American two prong. I assume they are 110v, but I never travel with anything that isn't universal power as a rule of thumb. Your computer will certainly be Universal (110 - 240v)

Internet worked pretty well in our room, but with most resorts, the quality can differ from room to room based on where the signal is located. Unfortunately, internet is expensive. $15 a day, with no multi day or weekly option.

Coursework at Temptation? Goodluck with that :)

    I thought it was $80/week?

I stayed in two resorts during my stay last week. Both used the same company for internet, but both had different pricing options. So apparently, the resort sets the rates and options, and probably splits a percentage with the internet provider.

At Temptation, the options were $10/hour & $15/day
At Grand Oasis, the options were $5/hour, $10/day, $30/5 days

I'll let you form your own opinions.

Ugh I hope not. It seems like everybody here has had different experiences. Some people say you just have to hook up to the wifi and pay on the website for the $80 option rather than buying the card from the machine. I hope that's the case.

Don't know anything about a machine where you buy card. Maybe that's an alternative. We just found the provider in the wi-fi connections and followed the instructions online.
