Hope we don't get in trouble for posting a complaint

The accomodation aspect costs peanuts from the UK with the package holiday market and therefore we didn't even bother booking our week through RCI, as with the exchange fee, AI fee and flights it would of cost us much much more. Shocking waste of RCI points if u ask me!!!!
We made plenty of premier club friends and personally, I aren't sure it's worth the extra TBH, other then a nice view and a lobster, which I got for $30 anyway!!!!!

 

And I was perfectly happy with my fluffy red towel!!!!!

 

I view premier members the same way I view swingers...I don't care if you are or if you aren't. It doesn't make any difference to me, so why should I care? You do what you want to do, I'll do what I want to do, and I'll see you by the sexy pool.

You see thats why I am so confused, some say its great some say it isnt.

 

To some it is--to some it isn't. Personally--for us to go and only pay $1200 for 7 days, including airfare from an aiport 10 minutes from our house--how can I go wrong?? If we booked anywhere else--we'd be paying at least $2300--doesn't take us long to make up our initial investment at that rate.

It's all in what you make of it!! For some it works--like us--some it doesn't. We really don't care--we party with EVERYBODY!!!

 

Flying from Canada is very expensive , combining hotel and flights we get discounts.It would cost me more to go as a member because i would lose the flight discounts( and still have to pay AI fees), not to mention the original investment. Flying from the States is alot cheaper and some have air miles and points. So your departure has some bearing on the out come.
... and yes we party with the members, and non,,, no issues there.

 

with you on this Donald. This was our 6th trip. Everytime we arrive we wear out TTR Tshirts and the same guy greets us at the front desk asking how many times and why we aren't members? We tell him the same thing ..."it's cheaper for us to do a charter or flight hotel combo from Canada than becoming a member"...er are happy with the service we receive and the rooms everytime. So why? But it is different for everybody.

 

Just curious.. was thinking about booking trip next year already and noticed prices to book the same week I just had are about 40% cheaper than this year. I'd imagine they use some load management software that ups the prices as the occupancy rates increase. What companies do you book charters and packages from both Canada and UK? Is there a US company that offers packages with flights?

 

Expedia was good this year, for me and others , last year was Orbitz, changes every year , if your going to book in a high week I would say book at least 2 if not 3 months in advance and shop around.
