Hi guys! Does anyone know if you need any injections for visiting cancun from the UK? Conflicting advice online!
You definitely need some shots - - - - preferably tequila, sex on the beach, kamikaze, and so on, and so on, and...
Hep A and B combined? Even better. Not sure if this is offered in the UK, possibly. I was vaccinated against Hep B years ago because of my job, so only needed the Hep A. Wouldn't hurt to get typhoid either, and check your childhood tetanus, diphtheria and polio are up to date. Time to see your GP's nurse I think! :daisy:
Think that's a good idea, we've all been too busy looking for outfits and planning what our first drink at the bar will be to think about these important things!
We did, Hep A and typhoid are recommended for Mexico. However, it's a country-wide recommendation. Cancun isn't so bad as it's basically tourist destination, so not major important if you're not going off-resort. Seeing as we get free healthcare here it's not a bad idea though if you've got time. I think you need the shots something like a month in advance for them to be effective. Hep A vaccine hurt like hell for about a week afterwards!
We just do a lot of WET PUSSY SHOTS when we get there and then drink lots of alcohol to ward off anything in our system. LOL !!
