Downtown can be a option down the road for sure, we are just looking for a place that has a great party atmosphere, tons of parking, and a hotel within walking distance so that no one has to worry about drinking and driving or being a DD. This way we can all get as hammered as we want and have a blast. I am sure our bar tab will be worth more than a week long trip to Mexico lol.
Other option is take a cab from the hotel or restaurant to the club. They waive cover if you show up in a cab. And then no worries about parking or DD.
Shhh please dont talk about summer yet while it is still snowing outside, I might get a urge to go hit a roof top patio at Roc N Docs in my shorts and sandles and take a picture in the snow again. Can we say shrinkage lol Brrrr its too cold to be here, I am not used to wearing 3 shirts, long johns, 2 pairs of socks and a hooded jacket. Lenni, I'm with you, this cold shit sucks. Winter is being a bastard and it continues to be much colder here than normal for this time of year. Anyway, Laurie and I can't make May 4th due to another commitment, but if you guys do this again we are definitely IN! Especially over the summer where we can make a whole weekend out of it, Laurie loves Toronto so we can get some added value to the trip. Sometime in mid August would be awesome or mid June would work too. Jeff
It is always tough to find a date that works for everyone - especially when the guest are busy professionals with families and active social lives. The concept is great, once a date and place is chosen - we will do our best to be there.
Wow, thank god Kelly has face book or I woulda never heard about this.....sounds like a good time. Any excuse to get away for even a night is good for us. Can't see a time that would be bad for us, so count us in whenever. Awesome idea!!
We would probably attend, but in the future, we will be landing in cancun, staying in the Mayan from may 4 to 11' so may 4 is out. We organized a couple in the falls in 2009 and 2010, at one point had about 30 express interest, booked a block of rooms and the whole nine yars, in the end only 3-4 couples showed so it was discouraging. If this is a success then maybe we will attend the next one
