    omg so sore today.. Been doing 3 days of 1 mile on elliptical, followed by diamond pushups, inverted plank leg kicks, then regular pushups, then repeat until dead.

    My chest is killing me.

    I give up !!! I'm sick to death of all this.. up down up down. When I didn't concern myself with my weight it didn't move.. I get on the scale every other day sometime twice a day it some (very few) times I'm happy but finding more and more often I'm not.. which can ruin my whole day if not week. I want to get back to living and doing what I want when I want.. and stop with all this guilt.. I've had it...
    But good luck and best wishes to everyone that is sticking with it.

    Don't give up. As far as the weighing in goes, do it once a day if you have to do it, and always try to do it at the same time of day, wearing the same or similar clothing...

    Track what you do as closely as you can too... How much water you drink, what foods you eat and when, everything... Then you can look and see what is going on and what your hold up is. Who knows.. Maybe there are somethings you are eating that you think are good for you, but are actually hurting you. I've recently learned A LOT of things I thought were good are actually bad.

    Deb that is exactly what I am doing.. just eating healthy, trying to stay out of the fastfood resturants and processed food and exercising.. do i step on the scale every so often yes.. do I care if its up or down 5 lbs.. no.. if you eat healthy, stop dieting eat what you want from home and exercise you will lose.. or at least maintain and not gain and have your life back.

    but dont give up completely.. you just have to reset your head.. unless your hundreds of pounds over weight.. you are not gonna lose more than 1 pound and a bit a week unless you starve yourself and then as soon as you eat.. its all back..keep doing what your doing and STAY OFF THE SCALE..lol, its doing a head job on you..I may be wrong but you sound exactly like me.. lol

    if i weigh myself and am down.. I am soo happy that I have a little extra treat.. even if i didnt intentionally do it .. I ate more that day or the next day then I would be back up and pissed off.. I have put my scale away and just doing that i feel free. I will weigh once a month, maybe..

    I know what I'm doing wrong but I will not give it up.. Its not what I'm eating I can assure you... its what I'm drinking.. I love my red wine and vodka diet cokes... and on the weekends its more than a few. My husband and I work very hard all week, long stressful drives to and from work, approx 1hr each way by the time we get home a drink or 2 somtimes 3 just calms the day away... I'm not giving it up.. I'd rather have my sanity and be happy than me being skinny mini...LOL like that will ever happen...

    Hey guys! So I've been following what my trainer said about my thyroid issues: Eat a crap load of protein. No limit.

    So far I am proud to say that as of Friday... I was down 4.8 pounds in only 2 weeks! :)

    I haven't measured my inches lately. Ever since I've sprained my ankle I haven't worked out much. It still hurts me 3-4 weeks later but at least I can walk and Zumba now when it is wrapped. I'm beginning to think it's more than just a sprain. I really need to see a doc. :( The ER doc was clueless.... although hot. lol.

    I don't know if it really shows any progress... maybe a little regression... but i'll take it. I have much more energy eating so much meat. It's awesome! I'm just happy the scale is being nicer to me now! lol.

    I was going to do two hours of Zumba today but we got like 3 inches of snow so far and they cancelled class. :::Insert "Meanwhile in Canada......" Joke here....::::: lol.

    I do want my life back, and I have enough things to feel guilty about... this has just put me over the edge.. F*&king scale to hell with it...LOL

    Scale isn't my friend so since I stop going on it everyday I lost 5 pounds in a weeks :)

    The scale hasn't been good to me either but I still seem to be losing inches. Just tried a dress on that didn't fit a week or 2 ago and now it fits great! I need to check my measurements. As much as its good to see the difference in my clothes, it's still bothering me to see the scale hover between the same 5lbs. Grrrr

    Ahhhh... Any way you can do alternatives to the diet coke? I've recently learned how AWFUL aspartame is for you... Vodka/Club maybe and then mix in one of those 0 calorie mio flavor squirts?

    EDIT: Here's a progress shot I took yesterday... 2 lbs away from goal #1 with 6 days to go, and then onto goal #2...
