We are with you Scott.
Hate when misinformed info is pureed on this site or in public in regards to membership.
But we always take solace in the fact that 'others' are subsidizing our perks.
And yet they have a strong bias towards members and membership without possessing all the facts.
(Don't hate or disparage us cuz we are white towel)

Paying thru the nose, watching prices and websites, worrying about room location or bumping, and on and on, etc is just not part of our life.

We know our price, we call, we book, we get 'our'(same) room. Breakfast order is already logged with room service. Restaurant res are alrwdy made. We show up, our room is ready we unwind in lounge, make small talk and we are welcomed back to the manor. It's old home week.
No muss, No fuss!
We luv our priviledges.
Agree with you, Scott, about premiere sales staff. Luis and Aeisha and Melissa are are doing a band up job in keeping us happy. Norma and Damian are fantastic in tending to every lil thing. Original genuinely wants to plz us.
For us, the membership was one of the best buys we ever made.

Heres hoping that ppl continue to slander the membership and it remains a cherished privilged minority.
Cuz we hate when they run out of white towels!!!

 

On all your above points--we can't agree with you more:xyxthumbs:!! We get our same room almost every time, and never fear being bumped. The staff has been nothing short of phoenomenal the last few years, and have always made it enjoyable booking, arriving, and of course the stay. For the rest of our years--it's nothing but enjoy!!!

didnt know it was a big secret. Just trying to figure out how to justify being a time share owner or not. I figure if its such a great deal, you should not have to keep it a secret.

 

They must have to sign a secrecy contract or their too ashamed to admit what it is.Always a veil of secrecy which make me think they got shafted and don't want to say ???? .

It has been quoted on here at $75 pp per day. or 150 per couple ,

If its such a great deal they would post their contracts on here.

 

The Premier pitch was exposed in a not-so-positive light from many of the regulars at Desire a few years back.

Why not just provide the information and let people make up their own minds? If it works for you, then that's great. But just give people the facts.

For what it's worth, the AI portion at Desire was reported to be $285 per night, per couple. Since we've never paid more than upper $300's per night, and often times closer to $300 or even less, we didn't think it made sense for us. Not sure what Temptation is at.

Mostly though, we take exception with the shady nature of the time share business, and Premier is no different. Sorry. Good product sells itself. You don't need to hard sell it with such garbage tactics.

 

As a single during high season it's about $110 per day and about $88 per day during low season. For a couple I think it's about 20-25 more

For me it works out well, older contracts vary more

 

White towel over use! It's a crime!

When Stacia & I got our membership in April of last year, we were a little shaky at the expense output, as Luis, good salesperson that he is, slid us sideways into a gold-laced platinum deal, with most of the platinum level benefits for slightly more than the gold price. Stacia's doing.

The RCI is what swung the deal for me. Trade-in a week at TTR, get a tradeable week on RCI. If I had had the tradable week already "in the bank" at the day I got my membership, I could have booked our Already-Booked trip to Maui later that year at a 3-bedroom apartment/condo/townhouse for $399 for the whole week, rather than paying $412.50/night for 2 rooms. Tht's right folks, for less than the price of ONE room for ONE night, I coulda had the entire week in a 3-bedroom townhouse in Lahaina, instead of at the Royal Lahaina, which amounted to a decent Best Western. The pool bar was good though, Sammy Hagar was sitting in my seat the night before. Still, multiply that out. $825/night to be close-ish to the water (not walking distance, times a week. Can you say sticker-shock! Close to 6 grand... Maui was a good time, though only at Little Beach could we get all groovy and nekkid-like. Still, good time.really

So, the only downside to the RCI thing is the need to plan ahead, but that's a very minor deal, since we usually plan the big trips, like next years to Majorca, then Amsterdam, Prague, ending in Greece about a year out. No problem doing things "out a ways," in that event.

What we did get actually AT TTR, which we didn't really even get told about during the sales pitch (so to speak, we did NOT do any ridiculous 3 hour tour, we'd been to TTR 7 times by then I think), was the noticeably increased level of attentiveness everywhere. Stacia & I don't call in, I email in what I want, and when, and what reservations I'd like, and the next day my reservvation comes back by email, all I have to do is get it paid more than 30 days prior to arrival. Same room each time, at least same hallway, Ha! 1107, 1111, 1139 (Temptation Suite, nifty if you get a free upgrade). Preimum liquor (Crown for me, last time they had some Syrac behind the bar for Stacia, think someone left that behind). Food delivery around the pool, access to the member's deck thing over the pool area, which can be a really raucous and scandalous party, or just quiet and relaxed. The members-only hot tub thing(not really members only, there's just got to be a member who's invited ya is really the thing) gets pretty damn skeevy looking by the end of a regular day. I've seen thinner and more colorless chicken soup, LOL! Too much sunscreen and make-up.

Make-up, around the pool. Whatever. Save that for the party nights, ladies, IMO, but that's neither here nor there. I have this talk with Stacia, too. Hair's long, boobs are out, thong framing booty cheeks, who needs make-up?

 

Nope ..it is such a great deal we don't want everyone to know it.
