We just returned and experienced 6 days of sunshine and really hot weather, but our last 3 days were crap - not a soul in the sexy pool, very cool, extreme winds and poured rain the one day; however, it is to be expected with it being winter there - we have to say - we would take the windy, rainy weather over our minus temps and snow fall any day!!

August cannot come quick enough for us - LOL!! :icon_mrgreen:

I'm sure regardless of the weather, you both will have a fantastic time!!

    Cheers!!

Yup - the local weather channel while at TTR is hilarious!!

We noticed that whatever day we opted to check - it would reflect a forecast of 2 days sunny with no clouds, but the third day would identify periods of cloudiness and possible rain - thus, the cycle repeating itself until such time the prediction was correct - hahaha!! Needless to say, we did not put much weight in the local weather report :bash:

Wow, I'm really surprised you had such extreme weather in mid-March! I thought all the bad weather had clears out by the end of February. It's too bad that the ideal Cancun vacay season is so short. Winter from November thru March, perfect weather April-May, hot as hell and hurricane risk June-October. I would love to get away from the winter weather in Vancouver in January rather than the spring weather in April!
