Don't worry Dan! We were at Patyo's 2 weeks ago tonite (Feb 28) till 4am and Johnny was hard at work. I also spoke to someone on the phone tonite who just left last Sunday and she sat up with Johnny several nights until he started to close up shop @5:30 am. so whatever was happening with a 2am closing has stopped. We can also vouch that the begining of January was normal bar hours, cuz we did our annual pilgrimmage at New Years. We left on Jan 5 and there werr no issues at Patyos
I promise you I will stay till at least 4am everynight to make up for what you missed ok....we are just nice like that :angel1:
Seeing we have to stay up till 4 am to get a chair the least they could do is serve us alcohol and hamburgers. any way seems it was only a glitch, maybe the guys was on holidays or an experiment from TTR :deadhorse:? Seems to be back to normal :bowdown:
I wonder if there was an issue with a large crowd of unruly's so they closed Paty O's to keep them under control?
If there was they did a good job of keeping them under control and hidden. I actually that it was very tame from what I was expecting.
2/28-3/5 Here and we had no issues with the bar closing down early or hamburgers and fries still open till real late, well past 2. The music did usually stop around 2, but that seemed to be the case in June also...
I feel like we got screwed over that week - what the hell was that all about?! Why would they close the bar early randomly like that? Oh well, at least it isn't normal - that is more of what I was worried about!!
No point getting too wrapped up about it. Could be a million things, staff shortage (ie. no Johnny) because of holidays etc. Poor weather, maybe there were some unruly types they wanted to shut down... You just never know lol
