Ok but if you are planning on using it as a WWE type weapon you have to remember to wear a luchador mask. After all look where you'll be. Oh you mean to sit in! Never mind!
Donald - Since you will be arriving a few days before us We will come to find you at Paty'Os our first night and you can explain the chair situation: We just want the resort to be clear on what the rules of reserving a chair is. I've heard 9pm, 3am, 6am. Last time we were there we had wake up calls at 5:30am every morning to throw our stuff on a pair and still had a tough time getting a seat. He's out pool-side drinking Ojo-Rojo's by 9am and reading most mornings so our chairs don't go to waste.
My routine is up at 5;30 am , go get a coffee, slip into the buffet restaurant, steal a shot of Baily's, head out to the pool, watch the sunrise, take a nap in the chair or talk to other towel bitches. Around 9 am Bonnie comes out and we go eat, then were back in the chairs for the day, reading talking /socializing watching other peoples stuff. More of a sun worshiper then a pool person. Its a routine ive had for years and hard to break
Holy crap on a cracker!! Gotta say our vacation isn't measured as a success or a failure by whether or not we get chairs by the sexy pool. I usually get up pretty early, snag a couple chairs if there are any. Grab a coffee to take to my wife for when she wakes up. If there are no chairs - no sweat, I just head down to the beach and snag a couple there. Not a bad place to relax first thing in the morning till things pick up. Then just go back and forth every once in a while - usually with a stop at the bar. Not a bad place for that afternoon nap either. And if none of that works there's always someone willing to share....just got to ask nice.
I just hope that someone had the decency to allow us to put our shirts/bikini tops/hats on the chair and sunblock under it. Other than that, we won't need a chair.
I feel more for the people who show up at 9am and do want a chair. If I want a chair, I'm out there at 6am with a coffee and a good book. If I'm up later, I don't bother and ask someone who does have a chair if I can put my bag down by it, then spend my day in the pool. When I'm out there early with a chair, and surrounded by 'empty' reserved chairs, other people show up and constantly ask me if I've reserved the chairs next to me. No I haven't! I've not a clue who reserved them, or when they're showing up.
We're with you guys on this one.. We're there for 2 weeks, so of course there are many of those days that we just want to kick back and relax read, take naps and most of all suntan, nothing better than being on the beach. We've even had great service on the beach, good tip and she's back before your finished your drinks. We're there to have a vacation we're not going to get our panties in a knot if we don't get chairs by the sexy pool. It bothers me that this kind of thread keeps coming up year after year.. I think about the Newbie's reading this stuff. My biggest thing is being a repeater I would rather give up my chair to a Newbie so they can enjoy the sexy pool for what it is and experience what us repeaters have enjoyed so many times over the years.
I gotta say this will be our first time and all this talk about the chairs is given me a bit of anxiety! :icon_frown: I want to hang and be a part of the festivities, but I'm afraid hubby won't want to stick around long if we don't have a place to sit/have a place for our stuff. If not I guess we'll head to beach!
