How about just make it fair and find a better marketing person? 1 vote per person, email, ip adress and what have you. I know I voted 5 times 4 for one lady and 1 for another. I don't feel that is even right. Make it fair and true and you will see much more participation every month and then it will make every lady that competes feel just as sexy as the rest since there will be no need to try and "rally votes". One vote per person and thats it.

If you need to scheme to find more email addys and get more info out there, then your marketing director is a dumb ass! and should maybe go flip some burgers or something they can manage in batches.

Kristen, Congrats! you are a beautiful woman and even though I did not vote for you, you are more than deserving to win the title. I just hope that the hotel/resort would change this up if this were true. Now can we just please let this stupid drama go ad be more positive? We are wanting to get in the vacation spirit here!!!!

 

I'm surprised with all the controversy n bs over the last few years w this contest Steve hasn't put an end to it on this site. Really am i the only one fed w the "it isn't fair, it's rigged, at least i didn't cheat" crap? Nothing against any of the contestants at all just enough already!!! Some girls put in an incredible amount of time n work into this contest for what? To have a bad taste in your mouth at the end. Sorry for the rant but had to be said

No matter if TTR fixed things or a contestant had people voting multiple times the contest is not fair and honest. Hotel gets what it wants a email list like stated in an earlier post. Next year everyone should boycott

I was already totally against the contest because of the past events but got pulled in cause someone I knew was in it .

Would not lose any sleep if it was banned on this site but I think that's Steve's decision to make,

 

I hear you Dan (and Scott), but really, is it your place to get exasperated because those of us who participated by either being a Miss T or voting for one are venting a bit here? Frankly if the discussion here prompts the whole contest to go away forever, then this thread has been worthwhile. I would point out that neither Sam nor I started this thread, and neither of us posted on our own threads to complain about the result. We were both going to simply let it lie because we are both well aware that "we should have known better".

The beauty of this site is that you don't have to read any thread you don't want to read. People bitch about all kinds of things here on Cancuncare, and sometimes it's therapeutic just to vent. Whether you want to read it is completely within your control, but if we want to discuss it I think that is the business of the people involved in the discussion. Free speech and all that good stuff.

You don't need to "point out that neither Sam nor I started this thread, and neither of us posted on our own threads to complain about the result." This thread was started by Kristen to try and rally votes right after her win in December. It wasn't until the voting got "ugly" and people started calling it a sham that she defended herself. I guess I would do the same if a bunch of people were jumping all over me about cheating and I know I didn't do it.

All I was trying to say is we can beat a horse to death but what is the honest reasoning for doing so other than to vent and we have done that already ten fold. We know that something stink but we also know that TTR listens to stuff on here band how much they don't really change to accommodate our rants. Best way to show the true discontent about the matter.... don't compete! Why give them the contestants to even pull against each other? We can have a good and fun/sexy time without that contest as has been shown in the past! That's all.

Apparently u missed the part where i said it's nothing against any of the contestants. But whatever! It's all the crap n bullshit that comes w the contest that alot iof us don't like. TTR seem to pick who they want to win every month n again for the year. N yes you're right i don't have to read it if i don't like it. But i've been on this site way before that stupid contest and very much like this site. How many times have we seen girls join cancuncare just to get votes n they're never to be heard from again after the contest? I always supported cancuncare regulars in the past (i voted for u inyour month n for sam i her month) but like many got fed with HOW ITS RUN N RIGGED.
