:flagscottland: Evening All! Just a couple queries. I'm looking to get away from it all for a week in May. I've a very stressful job and need time out to chill and have a good time. Just looking to meet new people and have fun. I've never been away on holiday myself before so I'm feeling a bit apprehensive to say the least. Would you recommend Temptations Resort to someone like myself? The other question is I have asked a single friend to come along with me but I think that may be best going myself as I will push myself to speak to more people, would you agree? You will have a great time, going solo or with a friend.. don't be shy and don't be rude, and I'm sure you will be back again. Check out the singles thread and find others going the same time... though have to say End of April is a better time...LOL
Find a wing woman if you can But even as a solo you should have a great time. Watchout for the cougars in april hehe.
Thanks for your prompt response. Sounds good to me! I don't think I will have any trouble chatting to people respectfully and having a good time. I guess its the initial meeting people is daunting. I will have to think about what date is best for me due to working offshore on an oil rig on a 2 weeks offshore and then 2 weeks onshore rota. That really dictates my available dates.
I know there is a big group of scots from Glasgow on the 13th going so that might work well for you, as a fellow Scot you will have a great time. We are going at same time as last year on the 11th and there is a big group of Brits going that day.
Definitely an option! I'm going to book it this week so I will post my dates ASAP and find out who will all be there. Pretty nervous traveling on my own to be honest
Well if CCC organise a Schoolgirl night, the men do wear kilts that night (don't ask me why!). Us lot are doing it in April. :daisy:
