I'll just know I'm not one of the deuchy single guys...I've mentioned a few times on here how not to be a deuchy guy...I have rules for myself and any time a single guy asks me about the place. But I've met amazing couples, singles...everything...and I hope they consider me in the same category. But yes, spring break is a "problem" anywhere in Cancun on the strip. I don't think too many hotels are not overflowing with college/university testosterone...and we've all seen enough girls gone wild videos to know why they go back... So on that note...never in March...Chaos Crew, January...and now April...here I come...again...
Was just there tonight, hung around the sexy pool bar 5-7pm for a couple of hours after the cruise. Have to say it was awful, the worst I have ever seen for groups of single guys. No one was causing a problem, but it just killed the vibe and deterred others from being there. Ashamed to say they were all Brits. Temptation is too expensive for regular spring breakers but these groups of UK guys obviously thought Spring break would be wall to wall pussy wherever they went in Cancun. They were mid 20's to mid 30's in groups of 8-10 strong so not even SB age range, they were guys with decent jobs, traveling in packs. Even saw one British guy wearing a UCLA T shirt... wtf! Also saw some were wearing the typical same colour T shirts with differing names, reminiscent of things that were only slightly amusing 20 years ago in Majorca. "Hugh Jass" "Ivor Biggun" "Ray Pugh" - which is particularly disgusting. Temptation need to get rid of these groups if they want to keep their core clientele coming back.
It's an interesting problem there Steve. Like you said it seems to be a British thing (the bigger rowdier groups) I wonder how much control TTR has on its marketing on travel sites etc? some people suggested removing double beds. That won't work in my opinion. Maybe require that for a group of 3 (the max I believe), require that there can be no more than 2 that are men? Doesn't chase away the single guy, but takes the economic advantage away from a room of 3 guys. Maybe consider a name change? The name Temptation in my opinion has always, to me anyways, seemed pretty in your face. Something a bit more neutral might not pull that crowd in as much. Or market more aggressively to single women. you know something like catnip? (just for Carol and Karen lol). Oh well, I promise not to behave like a drunken soccer hooligan folks! Drunk happy go lucky Canadian yup! Guess all I can do is try to set a good example!

Sounds like Cancuncare peeps will have to abandon the resort for most of March. Too bad. There`s been discussion on here since I joined about the way the British travel agencies market TTR as a singles hotel. Nothing we can do about that. I do think king beds only would help, as girls don`t mind sharing a bed, but most guys won`t do that I don`t think.
