I never stopped being active, even when I was hurt. I just rode the bike more and rested it more with ice or heat. I literally worked on crutches 24 hours after hurting it, I shopped every Saturday even though it hurt to walk and I really do love working out and I am keeping the most important muscle I have in shape, my heart. I see too many people at work that don't and it ages them beyond belief. I sometimes see 29 yr olds that act fifty or people who walk like their sleeping dead. It drives me nuts. I want to say wake the f#$$$k up and get moving, live life, and get real cause you are making you life as good or shitty as you want. Thanks guys, but I am just being me and doing it for me.
Hey guys! It's little ole Hammie. I have been busy with posting in the regular TTR threads. I have added more days, hours, and exercises to my routine. I'm still the same weight unfortunately.....but my inches are going down quickly! As far as 1/4-1/2 inch a week in certain spots! I had a long talk with the trainer and he said because of my heart rate issues and under active thyroid.... I need to eat a bit different. I now have to eat protein at every meal(even red meat... eek) and a crap load of green leafy veggies. I have only lost a pound so far in 3 days. Not too shabby. I'm not a red meat person though. I can eat chicken until I'm blue in the face though. haha.. Anyway... here is my current progress pic from today! I also just completed my 3rd tan tonight.... only 25 days to go!
way to go. the scale lies anyway!!! its about toning up. im going to cut back on red meat. i too can eat chicken every day!! fish too. glad your seeing and feeling your hard work!!!
I'm going out at lunch to buy a new scale... thats it thats final...LOL Your looking great Hammie.. Good job
the last time i wieghed myself, the lieing son of a bitc. said 157!!! he dont day anything now!!! hee hee hee.
got in a work out yesterday on the elliptical and another one today doing weights for an hour. My weight is stuck so I getting strict with the diet and adding more weights. I am getting smaller though and like Hammie my inches are going down.
Thanks ladies! lol. I would loveeee to throw my scale away! unfortunately, even if i throw my scale away, I still have to weigh in every friday. lol. I joined a "slim down for summer" contest at a Zumba studio I go to. It's $5 to join. Every week, if I gain I have to pay $2.... if I'm still the same I pay $1 and if I lose I pay nothing. At the end, whoever loses the most weight wins the pot. The owner started off the pot with 100 bucks for incentive. I believe there were at least 20 something people that signed up. Hopefully by the time we are done there is close to $300 if not more in there. It's not much but it could be very easy money just for losing some pounds. lol. Now if I can only get my body to cooperate! At least I have inches coming off. Thank you all for your support! you all are still motivating me so keep up all of the great work!
Posting one more pic if i may..... check out my "Before" photos! (Left side). Makes me feel like I'm at least accomplishing something! OH! I also wanted to say... the trained took my BMI and body fat percentage. He was fairly impressed. I was 221 upon weigh in. (not naked lol) I was 132 lbs lean body mass. 88 lbs fat. The fat part sucks.... but he told me that 132 was a significant number and it meant that I did have a good amount of muscle. This also makes me feel better but I gotta work on that 88 number. lol. My goal weight is about 160-170ish. I didnt like being skinny when I was. Thick is much more fun. I just wanna be a healthy thick. lol. I was also flat chested as all hell when i was skinny. lol. I got made fun of for having no boobs. Man if those people in middle/high school could see me now! lmao
