Hi guys, The information on this forum is phenomenal. We're planning on going early May and did our do-diligence researching the site but still had quite a few questions. Apologies in advance! -Orange Bracelets for identifying ourselves. Is this an official bracelet we pick up or will anything orange do? -Theme Night - Ann is very excited about the theme nights and is looking for appropriate attire to bring/buy. After reading the reviews is the lingerie theme the only one she really needs to plan for? What is dress attire for Revelation night? -Are the places that hold theme nights separate or part of the resort? I saw a list of May events that listed Coco Bongo and Bongo as places. Are those the same place or different? I don't know if Ann would be comfortable going to Coco Bongo in lingerie judging by how crowded it was last time. -Timeshares: Do you ever get compensation for the timeshare like a free massage or something like that? We don't mind sitting through them if there is a possible room upgrade. Otherwise we'll follow what others have said regarding them. -Room Upgrades: On arrival is there an equivalent to the "Vegas Upgrade" (slipping a $20 and asking if they have any upgrades available). Does it cost extra to ask for specific areas or rooms? If not, is there a certain etiquette (calling in before or doing it at desk?) -Booze Cruise: May is probably very late for a cruise but for future information where would I be able to arrange/book one? #1. Any orange bracelet will do. #2. look for the may mayhem thread, as they will have a list of all the theme nights for when you are there. #3. The coco bongo stuff is optional... Usually there are a few nights where some will go, and some will stay and party at paty o's. #4. Yes, I have heard you do get some freebies for sitting through the timeshare shpiel.. #5. Its hit or miss. We got a great upgrade last year... And I ended up not paying a thing. #6. Just keep watching this forum and steve will post dates & info for boobs cruises in may.
For a bit more explanation if you need it... #1. Any orange bracelet, but you also get one if you go on the Boobs Cruise #2. look for the may mayhem thread for CancunCare Theme nights. This will give you a different theme every night separate from the hotel (except lingerie and white night). #3. The hotel has lingerie and white/bachaneal night. CancunCare has there own theme nights for the rest of the days. Coco Bongos and other clubs are optional party nights that the hotel will take you there and you have to find your own way back. Or stay at the resort and party at Patio #4. Yes, but the gift is normally not very good. It ranges from free t-shirts to $50 or so each for the spa. This is negotiable when if you arrange to meet with them. #5. I wouldn't try slipping them a $20 and trying to get a room upgrade. I heard they can get fired for accepting cash "bribes". You can always ask about an upgrade and if you don't like your room then politely asked to be changed to a different area and it's not a problem. #6.
