Glenn, my career, health, and son were all suffering from the effort of trying to be both a full-time lawyer and a full-time publicist, plus a mom. I don't have a partner to help share the job of reaching out to people to convince them to vote. By Tuesday morning, I was completely burned out physically and emotionally, and did not want to have my friends wasting their time voting when there was no chance I would be able to prevail.

Calling it a day was the best decision under the circumstances. I consider it "conceding gracefully" not "quitting".
