I would love to make Jell-O shots while at TTR. I know people have done this before.....any tips on how to mix the Jell-O and water and then how to get them to settle would be greatly appreciated.

I have a feeling I need to use the coffee maker in the room for the hot water...

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks .... I just did a search and found this posted about 6 months ago. I also read that the little mini paper 2 oz cups work great. The kind that McDonald/Burger King have for the ketchup.

The coffee makers are the 4-cup size, so you will need 2 boxes of jello for each batch of shots. It is up to you how much liquor you want to add. To make not too strong shots, use just 1 cup of vodka. So you would add 3 cups of water to your coffee maker and turn it on. Then once all 3 cups of water has drained out into the container, add your 2 packages of jello and stir until mixed completely. Then add 1 cup of vodka to that, and pour into plastic shot glasses, chill for 3 hours in your mini-fridge. We prefer Cherry jello and Cake Vodka, good combo. To make stronger shots, use 2 cups water, 2 cups vodka.

1 Cup of Hot water via coffee maker to equal amount of vodka, never used pam spray before and honestly that sounds gross, all you need to do is SUCK harder & use more TONGUE to get it all out of the cup if you are using plastic cups, we use the paper dixie cups that crunch up so you get every last bit of it.

Enjoy the rest of the show

If your room doesnt have a coffee maker, just ask someone in the buffet, they will help you

If that fails also, ask for Victor the entertainment director and tell him your my cousin, he will help you for sure lol

Something else to try is to make a couple batches of drunken gummy bears at home and pack them in your suitcase. Keep the gummy bears in the fridge in the room until you are ready to party and share. I brought a couple of batches and we brought them out for our last night @ TTR. I made many new friends and had people eating gummy bears from various parts of my body...it made for an interesting night.

Those little paper cups Do Not Work. They are for cold. Once you add the hot water the paper softens as the fridge isn't cold enough. My husband and I had a hell of a time with a clean up at 2 AM because the cups leaked and the jello went all over, out and under the fridge. What a mess. I bought plastic cups (50 for a $1.00 at the dollar store) and they worked best.
Cheers to you and Happy Birthday.
