im finding it easy as well..down this morning and no exercise.. but back at that soon.. right now I cant and have not exercised in 2 week.. the minute i get my heart rate up I start to cough... but its getting way better and should be able to start again soon.. I like this way of eating so far.. mind you .. Still no white flower.. no sugar, no rice, I do have sprouted grain bread and I do have the odd baked potatoe.. no fast food, no frozen dinners.. everything else is game on.. lol the only other small issue is and I will have to just watch it.. If you have a late snack make sure its not to close to your time to have your dinner.. or you wont be hungry and I felt Like I ate only because I wouldnt get to eat again till morning.. so time them out so you are hungry for you last meal of the day..
Timing is key for sure, tonight I don't think I will have dinner, don't expect to get there till 7 or later... LOL I have visions of driving home chowing down on somthing ...LOL but I'm sure missing a meal won't hurt LITTLE OLE ME....LOL (well soon in the near future...LOL) And I not just eating whatever, I've been learning alot on here so not going to start eating a bunch of crazy things.. I don't miss breads etc. They are nice once inawhile, though now I'm pretty sure its wheat that I'm allergic to. (thankfully not wine)
Got in a 1.7 mile run averaging 11:47 min/mile. I'm bummed that I didn't get in a 5k but my ankle isn't happy so I don't want to risk it. It's upsetting that 5 months after my break/sprain it's still holding me back. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
Sorry you didn't get into the 5k, I know its tough when you've worked so hard for somthing and it just doesn't work out. Was your ankle a sprain or a break? I've heard some people say that a sprain can be worse than a break. I broke mine about 8 years ago and it still give me alot of grief.
I broke my foot and sprained my ankle. The break healed quick but I'm still in daily pain from the sprain. I've had a lot of people tell me I would have been better off breaking it. Damn my luck. Lol. The official 5k is Sunday so I'm going to be taking it easy until then. I think being surrounded by all the excitement will boost me through it with no problem. Between the pain and doing it on my own today it just wasn't happening. I ended up running another half mile on the treadmill tonight so that made me feel a little better. I made it through 3 sets of the personal trainer workout too. I was actually able to do all 3 sets of 15 triceps dips in my own slightly modified way. I haven't been able to do any in the past month thanks to pulling a muscle in my shoulder the first time we did them. And I'm finally back down to a 15lb loss again. I went up about 6 lbs when I was sick and have been struggling to take it off for the last 2 weeks. So I'm looking forward to dropping below this stupid weight hopefully tomorrow. We are still in the gym 6 days a week, 30 mins of EFX then weights and machines alternating what body parts we work out. Changed our diets, off of nutrisystem for now and doing meal replacements protein shakes salad for lunch and fish/chicken for dinner. I haven't asked Dani how much she has lost, i see it but im not stupid! I am down 33 pounds so far. I would love to be down another 10 in the next 6 weeks! At this rate I am addicted to working out again and will probably work out while in cancun.... but i feel so much better.
Got in an hour work out this morning, then ran around like a bangie cleaning my house. I am really soar today from pushing my car that got stuck in the damm snow on saturday night. I could barely move my shoulders today. 35 minutes on the elliptical, and work shoulders.legs, and back today.
I've worked out the past 3 days in a row! woop woop! I also lost another pound after reporting a tiny loss late last week- down almost 19 lbs so far! My goal is to lose another 3.4 lbs by 3/22, which will be so hard but I am going to try~! That will be the first time I am in a bathing suit since summer ended. YIKES.
I'll workout with you if you want... I wasn't planning on it... But hell if somebody else is dumb enough to waste time in the gym, I figure I can too...
