I seem to remember someone mentioning earlier that they took mickeys on the plane in their carry on as long as you don't exceed the fluid ounce limit? Is this true? Has anyone ever done it? Any questions when you go through security and they check your bag? Ya know when they ask you if you have any liquids and you pull out your ziploc bag?
Sorry but what do you mean by Mickey? Booze? SultryFox posted this below in the First time attendees top 15... (Which we will be trying for sure but haven't before) Buy some 3oz plastic bottles and fill them with your fav liquor - put them in the quart size ziplock bag to get through security, then buy something to mix it with before boarding - and arrive in Cancun sporting a comfy buzz at bargain basement prices! Check a bag with your liquids so you have plenty of room for the booze in the ziplock bag! You may want to use darker-colored plastic bottles to avoid TSA asshole commentary, like we got with clear containers full of Fireball - "that's a lot of 'medicine' you have ..." - none of your fucking business if it all fits in the ziplock - you ass!
I think it was Fox that mentioned it Just put your booze in 3 oz contianors, if they ask tell them its mouth wash you r more likly to have a problem with the airline, just hide it.
The TSA doesn't care that you bring alcohol on the plane, but the flight attendants do(or are supposed to, some look the other way). Because they sell booze on the plane, they want you to buy it from them. It is very easy to drink your own though, just keep an eye out for them.
Yeah, I figured not to have it out in front of the flight attendants. I did read SultryFox's post but I thought if I put in regular clear travel bottles they will question what it is and give me a hassle or take too much time with me? I was just curious if anyone actually had taken mickey bottles on the plane without any problems?
we just got back from TTR last week. Ive been doing the little mickey thing for years. You can take as many mickeys that fit in a quart size ziplock. Then we buy our soda in the shops after you get through tsa. Each passenger is allowed 1 ziplock. I was able to put about 7 or 8 in each baggy. And yes, we were kinda shit hammered when we got off the plane :icon_lol:
Give em a $10 tip for your Pop... they'll be happy. Plus you'll be getting warmed up for the wonderful vacation service you'll get at TTR.
Liquids, aerosols and gels - Canadian Air Transport Security Authority So basically think airplane bottles. A Mickey to many Canadians is the bottle size below a 26 oz. (12 oz. I think?). You should be able to find some. Good luck!
