I have heard that once you check out they cut off your bands and you can no longer eat or drink for free at the resort. We have a late flight and I don't want to be stuck not being able to eat or drink. Can someone please clarify this for me please.
Not True. Our flight leaving cancun last year was not until 10pm. We actually got a free late check-out because TTR screwed up and sent us to Sea Adventure our first night. So we were allowed to check out at 4 pm. But our transfer to the airport didn't come get us until 7:30 pm. So after checking out of our room, we put our luggage with concierge and went for dinner and had some drinks. They only cut off the bands when we were loading our suitcases into the van headed to the airport.
We checked out at 2:30 last week, they cut wrist bands upon checkout, then gave us a stub which worked. You are REQUIRED to give the stub when you board the bus.
As GoGoBlanco said, total rubbsih!! Although when they cut off your wrist band be prepared for the tears to flow....it's so violating!!
Its so true, I asked for a job to stay, she had one, but what am I going to do with 7 pesos a day? and 150 bucks in tips? I asked her if it included a room at Temptations she said NO..... I cried.....
What time do you need to be out of the room by? We have a later flight on our last day and it would be nice to not have to worry about getting up early. Can you pay extra for late check out and if so, how much is it?
