Hey my October Peeps, just wanted to let you know you may want to check airfare now. I know it's kinda early but if you know your dates you may be able to get a great deal now. We booked Oct. 26 - Nov 2 and got the best price we have had since 2010. Have not booked the resort yet, watching the prices, Alpharooms and Travel Republic are running around $1100 for the week. I don't think they will go up, hoping that some great deals like last year will pop up. Just a thought, Paul & Lisa
What airline are your using? I've been watching airfare since December from Louisville and its constantly been above $550pp. We paid $ 438 pp last year on Delta. In April, we are driving 2 hours away to Cincinnati because its cheaper and a direct flight both ways. Last year stopping in Atlanta was a pain in the ass. We had to grab our luggage once we passed customs and drag it to another tarmack and then get on the plane to come home. Plus the custom agent got snarky wanting to know why it took us so long to get to the customs gate. I replied that i was a "girl" and needed a couple of minutes and he just looked at me like "why?".
We are flying out on Jet Blue and returning on Delta. Paid $389pp, we are also flying out of a smaller and closer NY airport so we don't have to drive into the city. We do have a layover which we don't mind. Paul
hi paul, i couldn't find any airfair deals like what u found,but i am coming from the west coast...but i did find a good pkg deal thru orbitz and patty and i have both booked for 10/24-11/3...they have a promo code for $100 off...code= TRAVEL100...and it works...saved about 4-500$ compared to the other travel sites....sometimes prices go up for the wkend,so if they do i would recheck their site next wk around tue-thur....good luck...see you guys then...charlene
