Get it changed. We always leave the resort 1:45 prior to departure. USA Transfers has to give us a warning that we should really leave much sooner than that, however we have never had any issues.
Ya I know it is ridiculous, we always get the airport so early then we have to just wait around! I always try leave later and they won't let US change it....
Rated below in my personal preference order: 1. Sex: Yes, I know you don't have a room after you check out, but since Proper Planning Prevents Piss-Poor Performance, you "could" have planned and made a couple of new best friends and asked to borrow and/or share their room/jacuzzi for some quick nookie, then continue to borrow their shower to clean up in time for your ~1:30 pickup for the transfer back to the Cancun airport. Perhaps even requested someone(s) to take some great pics so you could show them off when you got back to "prove" how much fun TTR is! if that's your thing, of course. Some would go in for just being by themselves in another person's room, or having a big pile-on, that's up to you. 2. Drink: This one seems obvious, but somehow people miss the instruction that they can continue to eat and drink at TTR while waiting on the transfer to arrive to take them back to the real world, real life. isn't it much more fun to just see how many bodyshots you can take/give in that last hour and a half? 3. Shop: Stroll through the jewelry store and the clothing/stuff stores there at TTR. Some of the items are way overpriced, but some are actually quite modest (in price, not in appearance, LOL!). 4. Rest: Just sit down and chat, or nap, or whatever to start the recovery process from your "vacation." Stacia & I have excercised this option a couple-few times! TTR can be ... tiring, in that good, my soul is sandblasted clean, sort of way. Just my thoughts. Feel free to go Zip-lining, or go into town, or whatever if you like, but those don't rate my list.
We were out of our room by 11, but didn't actually "check out" with the desk until 5:30; that way they didn't take our bracelets off. Not sure sure if that was the right way to go, but it didn't cause us any problems.
They gave us a piece of paper, which if asked by staff you can show them, never had too bring it out.
After 2 weeks and a few hundred bucks in tips no one has ever asked us either. When they notice your wrist band gone they are more interested in knowing when you are leaving the resort so they can say good bye before you go. Usually we are gone but 2PM at the latest. This year will be different. Our flight doesn't leave until 10:30PM. Probably be at TTR till 7PM. Means an extra day hanging by the pool with the rest of the Addicts.
