unfortunately it wasn't that type of twisting lol... Yeah, I only made it through half... I was tired, hungry, and had just done 2.5 miles hauling ass on the elliptical an hour before this... My body was just done for the day... And the ceviche in the fridge was calling my name lol.
I just wanted to say thank you to whoever mentioned the kettlebells. I have been doing the squat swing forward movement and I definitely feel it! I only use the one that has an "8" on it...but man that thing feels heavy as hell! I do the smallest ones for sidebends and stuff. I have noticed that I'm not really that sore the day after doing even 100+squats. But I did like 20 with the kettlebell yesterday and my ass/inner thighs are so sore. I love it! Then I do hand weights lying on my back (hehe) for my arms. I use them for abwork too. I'm starting to do more with weights instead of just cardio. So far I am still down 6 lbs. It's not much for all of the work that I've been putting in but hey..... at least I haven't gained! Feel free to post your favorite/most effective kettlebell workouts! My focus is on my inner thighs, abs, and upper back/arms.
way to go. was at the gym other day, and saw some girls using the dettle balls. looks scary, kinda like a throw your back out thing!! im sure if done properly they work really well! good on ya, ive been told to change up the routine so it doesnt get stale. today im being lazy, well more depressed, because the resort is booked up, and so no going in april!! i just know we are going to miss so much!!
Sorry I haven't been here in the last couple days. I worked out all week but got busy. Today was just a hike of one of out hillier streets at lunch and two hours of walking West Edmonton Mall. It's a work out really it is, anyways that is my story and I am sticking to it. I was down an extra lb yesterday. Hopefully I survive the weekend.
Your welcome ... If you are doing 100+ kettle bells you need to up the weights.. Do the same exercise throwing the kettle bell up, but angle your feet out like a duck as far as you can and spread your legs a little wider for your squat.. You'll feel a whole new set of muscles being worked.. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
35 minutes on the elliptical and 4 hours in the mall. Down 8 lbs since Jan 3 now. Love to see at least another 10lbs by April 14th. That diet is interesting, and well it's probably what we all did as kids. Never ate food after 600 and meals were almost the same time everyday. Where I get screwed up in with my different schedules from day to day. I probably do something similar but maybe a 10 hour eating time instead and my own workouts at least 30 mins a day but up to 1.5 hrs.
Awww! Really going to miss you and Phil, Kathy. Consider coming down at Halloween? There will be a bunch of Addicts there then, and I'm trying to talk Glenn & Monique into going.
5 miles on the elliptical tonight.. Minimal pain.. Taking it easy until the 5k next weekend.. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Ran through the personal trainer workout 3 times this morning. Tried running afterward but my ankle was none too thrilled after the lunges, squats, and sumo kettle bells. Gotta do some running tomorrow to stay prepped for the 5k next Sunday. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
I'm finding it rather easy so far and down 1lb and haven't worked out. Just eat for 8hr and then nothing for 16hrs, its just timing. today I ate at 11 and will have to stop at 7. The only tough part so far is if you know you will have a late supper you want to hold off as long as possible in the am.
