well well, its getting closer and closer and i can almost feel that caribbean sun.. Anyway, we arrive next wed in the afternoon of the 6th for the 1st time. I have been looking on this forum for a while now and not found the answer to my only question so far.we are smokers, so,,,, Can we bring duty free cigarettes into cancun from the uk ? If so how many per person ? anyone know for sure? we usually go to barbados in march and we can not take any duty free items in! The customs take them off you if they catch you with anything. But everywhere is different and i have not seen this asked up to yet. Looking forward to it now and meeting whoever we run into down there, Hope the march list all have a great time.
Yes you can, not sure on the amount but 200 is pretty safe. Cigs in Mexico are cheaper than even duty free in the UK though, just be careful buying them at the hotel they are double the price than downtown stores.

Fifteen days and counting. It might as well be 50. Absolutely horrible, wet, cold, rainy, miserable weather here. Work is crazy now, and I'm spending way too much time distracted by this forum. Is this a common condition? Appears it could be.
Thanks steve (nice name buy the way). I dont mind where i buy them, or what country i am buying them in. I just dont like arriving without any!! It would be worse than the bar being shut on our arrival LOL.
