Re: timeshare people at the resort. They are located at a desk in the lobby. They won't tell you it's a timeshare, they will want to give you a tour and show you their members club. Just avoid it and "come see us for your free welcome gift"... NOT

I know people get all bent out of shape about the thing but it's really not that bad. If it's your first time you get a tour of the place and find out the history of the resort. Sitting down and letting them make their pitch to you isn't really that bad in my opinion.

At the end just say you aren't interested and be clear that you have no intention of buying at that time. Afterwards they aren't allowed to ask you anything else according to Mexican law.

As for the rest of the list in my opinion...
    1) Arrive
    2) Party
    3) Leave

You're on vacation no need to check things off lists, or make plans, or have an 'itinerary' in my opinion.

Tried to tailor some suggestions for first-timers. Some are practical, but thought I'd concentrate on 'things to know' about attitudes.

    First off, regarding attitudes/behaviours:

    1. Leave any hang-ups at home. Go with an open mind, and make sure your partner (if they don't read this site themselves) is ready for this too. There's a very 'relaxed but fun' kind-of-sexual vibe to TTR, which could easily be misunderstood by somebody who has never seen or heard about the place before. Make sure your partner understands and is comfortable with this before you arrive.

    2. Cancuncare is full of all the stories and experiences that people have had at the resort, but don't go expecting the place to be 100% full of swingers, topless women, alcohol-infused whipped cream frenzies etc that you read about on here. You’ll most likely encounter all the above at some point, but they certainly don't make up the majority.

    3. Standard rules of common courtesy apply at TTR as with anywhere else. Don’t judge a book by its cover - regardless of gender, sexual orientation or marital status, if a person is donning sexy lingerie, a thong, is topless, participating in games, giving/receiving body shots etc respect still applies! 'No means no', it's not ok to touch without permission, you shouldn't flirt with one half of a couple without first checking it's ok, don't assume everyone's a swinger, singles are not at the resort to simply 'hook up' or cause trouble. Leave those preconceptions at home.

    4. Motto of the place is ‘nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit’. A majority of guests embrace this attitude, so you will see a lot of things that could be considered outside of normal social convention e.g. body shots, pole dancing, outrageous theme wear, dirty dancing, older people topless and/or in thongs, larger ladies in skimpy outfits etc. Best way to have a good time is to accept this outright and enjoy the weird, wacky and sexy sights and behaviours you won’t find anywhere else. If you don’t agree or can’t accept this – it’s vital to keep those opinions to yourself.

    5. Make sure your partner knows where you are at all times. This has caught me out twice now. First trip, I wandered off (my bad). Second trip, it was the husband's fault. Save yourself the argument and remember to tell each other if you're going solo some place and don't change location unless you let them know first!

    6. Similar to 5, absolutely have the 'limits' conversation before you get there, and don't push them too far. Yes, TTR is definitely a place for pushing your boundaries and stepping out of your comfort zone, but make sure your significant other is also on board.

    7. Banish shyness. Try to be as sociable as possible and get talking to people right away. Pluck up some courage and start conversations with strangers - you'll eventually bump into somebody from Cancuncare. Try to resist any urge to sit at the quiet pool the first few days - sexy pool and Paty O is where you're most likely meet Cancuncare folk. If you get up early enough, make reservations for the restaurants. Reserve for 4 people and that'll give you a target to find another couple to have dinner with. It won't take you long to find a couple who'll appreciate the invitation!

    8. It's ok to say no. Don't feel pressured to participate in any of the games, theme nights etc. It's perfectly ok just to watch (except for lingerie night – you won’t be able to get in if you’re not in lingerie), just remember to be courteous to those who do participate.

    More practical-side advice:

    9. If you don’t like noise steer clear of any room surrounding the enclosed patio area right next to the lobby. That's Paty O bar. At first sight you wouldn’t believe such a small space could get loud at night, but believe me it truly does! On the other hand, if you stay up late it's the perfect location as it's so close to everything.

    10. Before buying anything at the gift shop, take the 2-minute walk across the street first and check if it's cheaper in the store across the road. If you're feeling more adventurous, take the bus ride to Walmart where you can pretty much guarantee getting anything you could in the gift shop for half the price. Personally, regarding souvenirs, I didn’t find anything at the local market stalls (market 28 and shops lining Isla Mujeres) that I couldn’t pick up for same price or cheaper at Walmart, store opposite the resort or the airport.

    11. Check out what theme nights have been planned on here for the days of your stay. Even if you don't feel comfortable going full 'dress-up', even bringing themed accessories will help you feel part of the group.

    12. Book a cancuncare Boobs Cruise on here before your trip. They sell out quickly, and it really is one excursion I'd recommend to every TTR newbie. I've read that people have had problems before where the excursion hut on the beach has sold them a different cruise claiming it's Steve's Boobs Cruise, but it's not. Safest way to ensure you're on a Boobs Cruise is to book in advance from this site.

    13. Literally everywhere is a trip/slip hazard, especially when wet, so take care walking in heels or when you've had a few. Worst offenders are the covered walk ways that have shiny tiles, the Jacuzzis, showers, tiles beneath the red fluffy mats in your room, stage in Nice Shoes and the pool walkway and steps. Just being aware these are slippy areas should help you avoid a nasty accident. In similar regard, absolutely always make sure you are never in/near the pool by yourself. Drinking near water solo is not a good idea – you could fall and go under, with nobody watching out for you. There’s a lifeguard at the beach on the resort, but not at the pools. I also always take a good basic first-aid kit with me, as I’ve heard it can take a while to get basic things like plasters from resort itself.

    14. If you're struggling with the luggage allowance, ditch the everyday casual clothes. Most days you'll go straight from pool to evening entertainment so can get by on swimwear and eveningwear. Do however bring something you can throw over your swimwear to have midday meal at buffet or restaurant though.

    15. I’ve got a small wallet-sized waterproof container (Otterbox) that I take out to the pool each day. Found it great for keeping tip money, room key and other bits and bobs that I didn’t want to get wet. With one of these you don’t need to reserve a chair if you’re planning on spending most of your time in the water or near the pool bar.

Just got back and here are two things I will add:
    1. find some sort of sunblock with zinc in it for your lips. My lips fried and blew up like balloons with 50 block lip balm. Since you are drinking alot, it comes of easy. Get the zinc stuff that wont come off so easily.
    2. Dont sign up for the games at the pool unless you are very comfortable getting nekkid in front of lots of people, cuz that most always happened!

    don't forget the golden rule
    - RESPECT!! just cuz a womens boobs are hanging out does NOT give you permission to "help yourself".... perfect way to end up with a swollen crotch for all the wrong reasons or a black eye from the hubby.

-don't be a bag o' douche taking pictures of people you have not met!!

I thought for the most part that everything was cool while we were there.

After playing around with Palmoa then spanking her ass on the way out, I did get a no no no finger wag :) and a free hug after that hehe.

    I was a good boy!
Zebra on the other hand...found some lady friends, and I missed all the action damit! No pictures, just some yeah I kissed her, her lips were soft....
    sigh.......

On the flip side, is it okay if C does it?

We did not see it nor did we hear of any incidences.
Other than my (lion) one learning experience.
