Just went to the Doc yesterday. I got a script for Cipro just in case of the "squirts", even though he said he hardly ever sees it any more coming from Mexico seeing as though most all of the AI's tend to have their own filtration systems for water. Then he had said the only thing he would recommend is for the HEPA/HEPB vac, but that it wasn't nessecary just more of a precation if you were going to do something a bit more adventurous. I would just also make sure you are up to date on your tetanus before you head out. I ran the gammit just to be sure so I know I won't be donw and out for any of the wrong reasons. Alcohol is a VERY legitimate reason and he couldn't give me anything to combat against that! :ernaehrung015:
Blowing Snow Really nasty weather here today. Everybody's talking about blowing snow. I don't know who this lucky guy Snow is...... but, I'd sure like some of that action for myself. Three weeks from today -- poolside at TTR! :lotsofmichaelfs:
We have been going to Mexico for 9 years and have never taken any vaccinations because "we feel" like it is not something "we" need to be concerned about in Cancun. That being said my husband is prone to getting traveller's diarrhea so we have opted to "TRY" Dukoral cause we seen it advertised on TV and it is something you take at home minimum 3 weeks prior to leaving and get at your local pharmacy. Other than that we will be getting some Cipro at the pharmacy across the street when we get there just in case.
We also had a snow fall which makes the longing to be at TTR just that much more intense!! LOL!! OMG ... 8 days and counting - so freakin' excited! :aktion033:  :aktion033:  :aktion033:
Need to start packing!! 8 more days and we are on our way!! We have had sleet and snow off and on the past few days so we are definitely ready to go!!!! Hope we recognize the people from this site so we can all introduce ourselves See you next week!!!
