I know this has probably been asked a million times but after going through 4 pages of posts I didn't really see what I was looking for. I know what has to be done for lingerie night But what about the others? I'll try to co-ordinate with what the wifey is wearing, but what is the general dress for the cancun clubs for guys. Will quality jeans/button ups etc fly?? We're packing now so I have to figure all this out Thanks for the help in advance!
Depending on if you want to dress well for your lady or not.... If you're like me, and get sort of frowned at if you want to wear ratty shorts and a T-shirt when your lady is dressed to kill, pack a nice pair of slacks and a decent button down shirt, and you'll be just fine, and even be slightly ahead of the populace. Or, you can take it down a notch and wear khakis, or down further to jeans and still be all good.
Most men wear button up dress shirts, or t shirts and shorts. Some where jeans but pretty hot there for jeans. You do need pants for the restaurants with reservations though.
Since you are going in a cooler month, you'd probably be fine in jeans at night unless you plan to dance up a sweat at Paty-O's. My pet peeve is guys wearing baseball caps at night. Save those for the sexy pool...your lady has a dress and 5-inch heels on, for pity's sake!
You guys look like a young couple.... go for "club wear" and you'll be fine. I know you know what I mean. We've posted on this kind of topic before... the women in our lives go to such amazing lengths to look...well... amazing. The LEAST we can do is put in the effort to look good for them! Cheers!
If its just a chill night at Paty O's, I typically wear a button down and nice shorts... Because it gets toasty. Sometimes I'll wear jeans, but typically end up going back to the room and changing into shorts because its so sweaty out.
Yeah, we do love to club it up we just don't want to look out of place. Amy always has something awesome on of course, and I like to look good and fit in. Where we live, stylish jeans, dressier shoes, and button ups are "dressing up" for the clubs for guys. I'm bringing some nice jeans, some khaki pants for dinners, and some nicer shorts so I guess we'll just have to find out the first day or two Thanks again!
