I was looking back on some of the old threads on cancuncare and seeing some familiar faces. The threads go back to 2006 when did BBG open? When was your first trip? I am kinda jealous we didn't get started till 2011. On our fifth trip in April
2005 and joined cancuncare after our third trip in 2006. Loved the BBG days. You think Chinos is bad ass now you should have seen him and Lalo then. I only wish I had those pictures in digital. Too much work to scan them all in.
I think our first trip, it was called Blue Bay Village, 1999 or 2000. Back then there was another website that has been long gone, and the resort ended at the activities shack. I remember when Steve moved from UK and launched this website. It was funny they advertised all adult, and the crew was a blast, but twice a day a boat would be at the dock for the Blue Bay Marina and kids would be walking by the pool to and from the dock/lobby. I think the loss of Lalo, Enrique, & of course Chinos hurt a little. Lalo & Mandy did a good job at the time, but there was no comparrision to the original crew. Last year I was I was lounging by the pool with an old shirt on and Mario stopped and said man that shirt is old. We are glad we started going back after a few years going scuba diving in Coz instead of BBG. Jeff
We first went to BBG in 2001. We will be back next month for our 10th stay, but we didn't discover CCC till Februay 2010. Thankfully we met some raving about the CCC website. It has really enhanced our trips.

I joined this forum first to find out if we really wanted to go to this wild uninhibited resort back in 2006. We decided the place sounded like fun so off we went to Cancun. Time and family constraints have limited our trips to just a few, but we always enjoy our times at the resort and the time here on the Board. Good times and even good discusssions in the "Free for All" section.
My first trip actually was with my sister in January of 2010. Came back in 2011 twice and it was that third trip I met the Chaos Crew in December...been back twice since and returning in April for trip number 6.
I saw that Neo13 went to Golden Parnassus last year. Do any others go to other resorts or is Temtpation your home? We went to the Royal PdC last year with a group and had a blast. This year, we thought we were going by ourselves so we looked for something a little sexier so that's how we picked TTR. If we have half as much fun as I expect, I think our group will expand next time.
