Ummmmm Monique, Kim, Karen, Wendy and other April ladies, sounds like there will be some tight fitting men's swim trunks around the sexy pool. Holy male eye candy and highly probable wardrobe malfunctions for our view pleasure oh how I love TTR and all the fun it has to offer

 

Gosh I hope some will make an appearance in September!

To answer all of you yes it does matter where you buy your suits from(manufacturer). I have worn just about every kind of suit imaginable. Most all swim wear will run small for the simple fact of the material they are made from. After the material has been in chlorinated water the fabric starts to break down and loose it elasticity. That is why they tend to run small to accommodate for that.

When I just ordered the 2 you see in the pictures, I did order from my jean waist size(32). You can obviously see how tight they are. I am 5'11'' and weigh in at 180lbs with a 32"/33" waist. Each manufacturer will have different guidelines to follow for the suit fit. Look at those and understand if you want them more snug or more for the lax and comfy feel. You could also check out something called a "drag suit" in which they have several styles. Most of them are cut like the square cuts, but do have more material as they are meant to catch the water to create drag for training in swimming. They are also not always the most stylish but there are some that are pretty crazy!

 

That's it. No chance I am making it into one of these. If they are tight on you all at 155-180 and 32/34 waist then no chance I am making it at 6'3 220 with a 36/38 waste. I should be down to 210 35/36 by April but it sounds like that wont cut it. Still working hard though as I write this from the treadmill. You never know.
