We tried GP the first time to cancun and we were very disappointed compared to TTR. We always use applevacations.com. They take care of everything. Always had good luck with prices.
I went to Temptations when it was Blue Bay Getaway. Had a blast but the food was not as good as Golden Parnassus. It may be better now. I don't know.
Idk. I love my GP. I wouldn't be going to the chain for the 8th time if it wasn't amazing! I like TTR for day passes. I'd feel like I was cheating on my GP if I stayed elsewhere lol.
I just booked this past week through book it. A Club room, lagoon view, was only $133 per night and when I included airfare it was closer to $110 due to the discount. If you sign up for their emails you also get coupons.

i always use cheap carribean, they have great prices and even gave us a free margaritaville blender, valued at over $200dollars, plus discounts on vacations, but hammie is right, no golden...i already stayed at temptations...loved it, but meeting people we met last time in cancun and had to use expedia for this trip, expedia had decent prices too....5nights at golden, nonstop roundtrip flight(out of new york), txs and tansfers, came to $881 per person....
not sure, i'm gonna call hotel a week or so before i go, and make a request for king size bed and be on a upper level....without paying......personally i spend very little time in my room, maybe a nap,shower and few hrs sleep at night...so i see no reason to pay for upgrade...
