    planning a trip , like to know how the water is , do you need water shoes

    Don't need water shoes .The sand is very nice but the water gets weedy waist deep. They are no waves to speak of.

    The beach is in between 2 marinas.

    Not the best attraction At TTR.

    cool pic but gonna guess its old, chairs are different now..

    we walked the length of the beach every day,agree no need for sox

    The pic might be old but the beach is still that beautiful and I want to be there NOW!

    I always bring shoes, have never steeped on an urchin but very close.
    If it happens, just pee on it :)
    seriously urine will take the siting away.

    Never been to TTR so am unsure how the beach is, we have shoes and my flippers require booties. Better safe than sorry im my book.

    Haven't been in the water for the past 2 times. Can't leave the Sexy Pool!
