Actually Donald it's funny you bring that up because we were there in Nov. and we both said that we thought the wine was better than when we were there lasr April?! We are not connoseurs but for those who are probably still won't like it. It was good enough for us, except we can't get past the plastic at PatyOs. I know it's a safety issue but who can drink wine out of plastic? Just seems wrong....
The house wine is vastly improved. Jan '12 I found it undrinkable. Fast foward to Nov '12 and it was perfect (talking about the red mind as I don't drink white). I drink red wine often and won't touch the shit stuff. It's now what I would consider a high quality.
We always get a group to do Walmart ($1.00 bus ride, cab back), to pick up a couple of bottles of Don Julio Blanco. If I remember correctly it was around $37/bottle last Halloween compared to $80.00 here where we live.
That's great - we'd love to do the same. I only wish I could ship a case of tequila back to the states
Why do you take the cab back Woody, instead of the bus? We've never been to Walmart but are thinking about it this trip.
Good to hear. Just looking at Tempatations official website, they only listed about 5 different liquors. We'll relax now
we had dinner with a couple of premier members and "top shelf" was Smirnoff Our only issue was asking for strong drinks - I'd be standing at a bar with a $5 bill asking for two strong drinks, when they would be pouring grapefruit juice I would yell Stop! and they would habitually keep pouring. I should have asked for a glass of straight vodka and then a glass of mixer. On the bright side they did make chocolate martinis
