Anyone know if they have AA meetings at the hotel, or where I would find this information? I realize its an odd request, considering the hotel were going to. Lion.

People, Places, Things None of my business really though. Just bring the big book and read up. There will be plenty of alcoholics there though, maybe you could start a meeting.
Believe me I know a few people that should quit and have not. I have a lot of respect for people who have recognized they are in that group and make the effort to do so..
I just need to make sure that they are safe while we are there. I wont loose my best friend in the world ever again, Cant let that happen.
So important for so many people! Here's what I've been able to find....found same info in several different places, but was worried that it was outdated. Found this on CancunBlog.info posted on May 18,2012 so I feel pretty confident that it's still current. Best of luck and have a great trip!! Cancun offers daily meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Meetings are in English in downtown Cancun. From the Cancun Hotel Zone, come to downtown. Go straight at the first stoplight. The next main road to the right (not a stoplight) is Ave. Nadar. Turn right, do just about a block and you will see Plaza Nadar on the left. Meetings in English each evening at 6:15PM. In the same location is the ALANON meetings every Tuesday & Thursday from 4:30PM to 5:30PM.
